How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The shower has very small pressure. Soap dispenser not working. The duvets are too thin.
Everything is clean. The staff is welcoming.

There was really only one problem: the two floor drains in the bathroom emit foul-smelling sewer gas. I taped up the drains and the room smiled fresh within 30 minutes. I had to dry the shower drain and replace the tape immediately after each shower. I once stayed at an apartment with a bathroom with a similar problem but with a drain cover that opened and closed, which would be a worthwhile investment here.
The room is simple but all the basics are there where they should be: there are plenty of electric plugs, including by the beds. There are light switches by the beds. Rather than a table there is a long counter along one of the walls that actually provides more table space than one usually gets at such hotels. The fridge was good. I had no issues with the wifi. The heating and hot water were comfortable and reliable. The wardrobe was spacious. The receptionist was friendly and was always around. The room had been thoroughly cleaned when I arrived.

The blinds on the window didn't cover all the window so that can be improved easily.
The people at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Perfect location near everything there are 2 supermarkets, GUM Market, a bus station, a metro station, Rossia Mall, and S. Gregory the Illuminator. Also, there is a parking. It takes 15 minutes of walking from the hotel to arrive the Republic Square

I had a wonderful experience during my brief stay. The room was equipped with comfortable beds and a convenient desk, making it an ideal choice for my work-related needs. The hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming, which added to the overall positive atmosphere of the place. Hot water pressure in the shower can be a bit stronger.
Very welcoming staff. The price also was attractive. The room has enough space for two people, and had every faciility was there.

Central located hotel just little down from main square. Marketplace on one side, main street on the other, but hotel totally secluded from noise and when you are inside you can totally forget that there is so much life outside. Lady at the reception was extremely helpful to me and also other guest while I was waiting to check in, but also trying to resolve some bank problems that accured to me the day before. She help me send emails and scaned and printed documents I needed to set things up. Can't thank her enough. All the best!

Unfortunately the area is full of butcher shops..but that’s not a fault of the hotel.
Very nice and clean room! The Wi-Fi was fast and the receptionists were very helpful. :)

Great location, close to shopping center, market and metro. since I came late in the evening and when nothing else was working, the hotel staff helped me change money. The hotel was clean and tidy, the room spacious.

I booked it for my parents for 1 night and they were very happy that we chose this hotel. Everything was soo clean, the bed is very comfortable and the stuff is very nice and friendly. They said that if they are ever in Yerevan, then they want to stay only in this place :) Totally recommend!

I like how clean it was and how complete the utilities even if the concept of the hotel was simple. It’s like a house. The owners were nice and accommodating and also the cleaning lady did a good job keeping the hotel tidy. They also charge at the property so your card is safe even if you use it to book online.
