Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BahrainDespite it costing more, I prefer the room on the top floor opposite the billiard's hall. From there you hear absolutely nothing; for example, voices from reception are entirely not audible. However, that room is frequently booked and, therefore, not always available. They might consider replacing the billiard's room with guest accommodation. Although near a metro station, the location is about 30-40 minutes by foot from the center of Yerevan depending on your pace.
Highly recommended for longer stays for solo travelers and couples. Basic facilities are provided: kitchen and laundry. Room is fine. Bed is comfortable and small refrigerator works effectively and you also have access to a larger frig in the kitchen. Whatever meals you want you can prepare yourself; there are numerous close-by supermarkets. Heating in winter is effective without getting too hot. People who stay here are quiet and civilized. You can get a good night's sleep. It is a small family-run establishment. Hosts are very kind and honest people. It is easy to communicate with them in Russian. I have stayed multiple times in Arma. I would also like to add that, if you stay over the summer, the aircon works well in the rooms. Every time I leave this place I always feel a little sad -- place feels like home.

CanadaMy stay at Arma Boutique Hotel in Armenia had its ups and downs. While the accommodation itself was decent and met basic needs, there were certain aspects that detracted from the experience. The room was comfortable enough for a short stay, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful. However, one significant downside was the presence of a noisy owner or management, which disrupted the tranquility of the place. This made it challenging to fully relax and enjoy the stay. Despite this issue, the hotel's location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions, and the amenities provided were adequate for the price point. In summary, while the hotel had potential, the disturbance caused by the noisy owner or management was a notable drawback that affected the overall experience.
My recent stay at Arma Boutique Hotel in Armenia was quite pleasant. The hotel offered decent accommodation at a reasonable price. The room I stayed in was comfortable and clean, though it wasn't anything extravagant. The amenities provided were basic but functional, meeting the needs for a short stay. The staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any queries or requests. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. While the hotel didn’t have any standout features or luxurious offerings, it provided a comfortable and satisfactory stay for the duration of my visit to Armenia. Overall, Arma Boutique Hotel served its purpose as a decent, budget-friendly option for accommodation in the area.

BahrainNot really too much to complain of. Could have better cooking instruments: pots, pans are too small and basic. I tried cooking once and it was not too easy. If you would want to cook, better to look elsewhere. Common frig has no freezer and the frig is not set very cold to keep drinks real cold; prefer the room minifrig for that. A bit noisy in the hall from chit-chat when they do cleaning in the mornings (somewhat annoying) so would recommend earplugs if you are not an early riser or a sound sleeper. No elevator so will need to lug your luggage up a flight of stairs but Artur can lug for you two heavy bags at once if you can catch him)) Some strange policies like doors close at 12 midnight unless you make special arrangements. If you wake up real early, you will find yourself locked in. (I wake up late so for me not a consideration but keep in mind if you have an early morning taxi or transfer booked.) Not permitted to invite a guest of the opposite gender unless you have checked in with that person from the get-go. (Since I was in Arabkir for studying, that was not a factor for me.) If you want to go downtown, you will need to go by metro unless, of course, you would like to walk. If walking, allow for 30-40 minutes.
It was just what I was looking for as I needed to stay in Arabkir. Comfortable double bed. Kitchen facilities. Washing machine common access. Access to a common frig plus small frig in room. New building. They speak Russian. Good because my Armenian is too basic at this stage. Reasonable price for room. Aircon worked well. Groceries, fruit shops, local fast food joints, various restaurants within a 5-15 minute walk. Friendly hosts: Father-son team, one of whom will be in the hotel any time of day or night (son Artur at night). I prefer rooms not overlooking the noisy main road and I stayed in one such quiet room. Artur can also arrange reasonably-priced day-trips -- he drives a well-maintained Mercedes.

AustriaThe street is noisy, but tight windows and airconditioning help.
Located in walking distance from the metro station, food shops in vicinity. The owner is friendly and ready to help. Room is clean and comfortable. There is refrigirator and a kettle in the room (but no cups or glasses - so ask the owner if you need any).

CyprusEverything was incredible. The place even looks better than the photos.
A fantastic place to stay in Yerevan 🇦🇲 Arthur and his family are very welcoming and are available 24/7 to make your holiday even more special ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Location is perfect. There is a 24 hour SAS supermarket nearby which gives you the best exchange rate. A 5 minute walk takes you to a Yerevan city supermarket which is the best for shopping 🛒 The metro is close by and within ten minutes takes you to the centre 😃😃😃😃😃 Or you can use the wonderful GG taxi app which only costs €2 to take you to the centre or €6 to the airport 👍👍👍👍👍 The WiFi is super fast 💻💻💻💻💻 In the kitchen there is free coffee and water ☕🥤 For food I recommend the restaurant Lavash. For a late night snack I suggest the restaurant Barbecue B.Q. for a pork barbecue 😃😃😃😃😃 A special thank you to Arthur for opening the front door after 1am and letting me use the snooker table located on the top floor 👏👏👏👏👏 This is the best place to stay in Yerevan. Book now before it's full 😃😃😃😃😃

The room was cozy, everything felt like new. It is super convenient for those who like to travel by public transport. What amazed me the most were the owners of the place and the staff: they are incredibly lovely people.

The kitchen is very clean and can be used for preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner. A bakery is close by, as well as a supermarket. Its a 20 minutes nice walk in the centre of Yerevan. RussiaI didn’t like that i wasn’t found this hotel earlier.
It’s one of the best hotels where I was staying in Yerevan. It’s running by very friendly and kind family. If it was possible I will stay here for a longer time. Arthur is very helpful and one of the kindest man I met in Yerevan. He likes sports and diet food very much, like me. Also there’s great and delicious breakfast that was made by his mother every morning. It’s not 5 star hotel but it definitely deserves 5 stars.

There was a good kitchen and all the neccesary plates and kitchen wares. We cooked somethings for breakfast by ourselves. A good balcony was there and we sat there in the evenings and enjoy the weather and drinking. The location was very good. A lot of shops, fresh fruit shops, bakery and metro station were around the hotel.
