I arranged airport pickup and no one was there for a long time. There was a language mixup so I think they need to translate the email next time to avoid confusion. But they apologized and the rest of the trip was smooth.

The location was gorgeous and the staff was very friendly. I loved my room, and appreciated that the staff came to check if the heat was enough the first night. The view was amazing.

Staff was terrible vibes. They hated us for some reason. And it was expensive. Better places can be found very close, with equally good views and better prices.

The price-quality ratio could be better. For this price, you will get a room without air conditioning, and if you wish to stay there for a couple of days, it will become so hot in a couple of hours in the morning that you can't stay there anymore. Mosquito nets with very large meshes, so in the evening, all insects will be on your ceiling. The restaurant prices are like Yerevan, but the portions are small. We ordered 2 kebabs, they brought us 4 burnt pieces of meat. I got the impression that they were just making money by the location but not the quality. I prefer to stay in another place for the next time.

Practically hated everything about this place that doesn’t have ANYTHING of an “Eco Resort”. Fancy words used with no purpose. We had water coming out of the toilet so constantly had some water in the bathroom’s floor. The toilet seat was damaged and was bad quality plastic. The rooms are terribly hot and they never thought of putting a fan inside. I tried to rest during the day but I couldn’t fall asleep because there are many water pumps around the resort which make a loud, annoying noise which keeps going on also during the night (since it’s very hot inside in the summer time you need to keep the windows open - so you either don’t sleep because of that noise or because of that heat). Added to that the linen (fake-wannabe Burberry, really?!) were even too short for the beds. How ridiculous is that? The staff is rude and doesn’t solve problems or issues. Food was quite bad for such a place. This place really had a strongly bad impact on our journey in Tatev, which unfortunately we will not remember happily. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND AVOID THIS PLACE!

Rooms were boiling hot, couldn’t sleep the whole night. There was no AC in rooms, considering that the rooms are wooden cabins. A looot of mosquitos. Breakfast was very bad too. The kitchen was operating until 11pm, after that we couldn’t even order drinks.

While the location and views are great, the personnel ruins the entire experience. They are rude, not welcoming and they give the feeling that they do everything possible to ruin the guests' experience. Breakfast is terrible to say the least, fruits and vegetables were not fresh, the meat options were disgusting, no coffee, no water... Dinner experience was terrible too, we waited at the table for almost 1h, chased them a few times to come to clean the table and bring the drinks at least, but nothing, so we decided to leave which we were happy in the end because we found a local place run by a family which was amazing (a tavern 5 minutes away by car) In conclusion, this is not a 8.2 rating place, I would not give them anything above 1, location and views are the only things good about it, but there are many other places there that have the same - save your money and go for a more friendly atmosphere.

Everything was extremely bad starting from the staff when we arrived there, the staff were surprised I felt we are an Elian. They didn’t know that there is a reservation.Also no one asked for the passport or any ID for registration which is was weird.they just showed us our villa location and where is the breakfast location for the next day. When we entered the villa no one helped us to move the luggage to the villa. No water was provided in the rooms at all. The next day when we want for the breakfast nothing was there only boiled eggs we were disappointed and we cooked the breakfast for us the second day in the villa, which is mean that the money was paid for the villa only. Also in the second day when I asked one of the male staff to have water bottles he gave mole two I asked for more he got energy and started to talk with her colleagues in their language” Really everything was disappointing.

We had dinner there and sadly the food was burned and the other dish was cold. So I hope they improve upon that. The breakfast was better than expected, after reading some comments. It's a simple Russian style breakfast. There seems to be be some construction going on which took away from the view in the outside area but that's hopefully short term. Anyone going to the resort should understand that you get what you pay for. It's an outside location and weather will influence the experience a lot. There are simple rooms and more upscale ones. I guess for someone reserving the rooms that are on par with a four star hotel the rest of the facilities might seem a little underwhelming.

The location was excellent and the view from our room incredible. We had the "hobbit hole" room and loved it. I imagine it might get very hot there in the summer months though, due to the huge window and relatively small room. The outside spaces are spacious.

We were greeted by a barking dog which scared the death out of us at night. There was no reception / any staff to assist us with the luggage upon our arrival. We had a very bad experience with hot water, as the water finished just after one of us showered, and when asked the staff they told us to wait for another 40 minutes to get more hot water, which we did not get either, finally one of us ended up taking a cold shower in the blistering cold weather.

The surroundings are amazing! We stayed in a room with 2 complete glass walls with a fantastic view over the mountains. Despite this it was very private and no one could see into your room. Super romantic!
