How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was exceptional indeed! Very comfortable, clean, location is great. People who run the place are super nice. Breakfast was homemade, lovely and delicious. Can only highly recommend!!

The Internet was a little unstable at times, but generally usable.
An absolutely fantastic stay which was met with some warm Armenian hospitality upon my arrival, offering me to sit down and enjoy some lunch as there was plenty there. The rooms are clean, modern and the beds are really comfortable. The breakfast is a superb spread and varied each day, by far the best I've had anywhere in a very long time. Hovo and his wife were very kind and welcoming and I'd encourage anyone staying in Gyumri to stay here. It's a great location too, only minutes away from the main square.

I was a returning guest, I stayed at the hotel ~1.5 years ago too. Cozy family-running hotel, with flexibility in check in and check out times, breakfast time, etc. The location is great! 2 minutes walk from the central square.

The electrical tea kettle is not available in the room and need to go to kitchen to use it, hair dryer is available on request, these two items are better included in the room.
Clean spacious room, excellent location and responsive owner who helped arrange a car and driver for our day trip to sinahin and haghpat. We enjoyed a good breakfast everyday and it's different day to day, and the owner even prepared breakfast for our departure 7am on the last day. The bed and mattress are comfortable. Owner is on site to help whenever guests are around.

Everything was perfect.
We have spend a wonderfull time at this little hotel. It was the cleanest and most comfortable room we have ever been in Armenia. The host are very friendly and helped us and other guest with our car problems. The breakfast was fantastic and the hotel is well situated to visit the city.

A family run hotel next to the city center. Very clean, lavish breakfast, the host is very friendly and accommodating. Definitely a good choice if you travel to Gyumri.

Well, the word hotel might be confusing for someone. It is superb guest house.
The hosts were super nice and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and place itself was nearby the main square of the city. Roomes were spotless = superclean.

Excellent service. Super clean. Very big room and big bathroom. Very tasty and big breakfast. Our room was at the back of the hotel and was very quiet. In the city centre. The owners successfully go to very great length to make sure their guests have nothing to complain about.The hotel looks very new or very recently refurbished. We are planning to go back to Gyurmi and will book at this hotel again without hesitation.
