If there was a hair dryer, it would be perfect.

I have travelled for 7 months in the continent of america and this is the only hostel i gave score 10! The owner is extremely attentive and consiiderate which made me feel at home. All the euipements well maintained. Hot water, lamp and big locker,curtain besides a small bag to put your electronic devices when recharging! I will be definitely back when travel yo el calafate.

It's a small detail but breakfast was nice but everything was too sweet (couldn't eat the alfajores and biscuits because they were too sweet)

Nothing, Just in case you are looking for a lively party hostel, maybe this is not the one..

Friendly atmosphere, quiet, clean and relax. The owner and staff are very friendly - not the same as some comments. I stayed there three nights, checked out at 10am, but afterwards you can stay in the common area..also can store your luggage and they didn't kick anyone out!

I like the cleanliness of the house and how everything was taken care of, never had a hostel like this:) Also the breakfast is made really cute, you have a lot of privacy if you want and the WiFi works. Also the staff is really kind and helps with everything they can. Really I have nothing to criticise.

Forget the breakfast. They have cerial all day long, but only powdered milk... ;) so bring your own. The popcorn was nice though.

Love love love this hostel. Very organized and clean. The beds were comfy and have curtains for privacy. There is also a locker. There are two kitchens, a cozy living room and a working/dining area. There is a supermarket and a pescadería one the same block. Very close to the center, just a few blocks away. But far enough that’s it’s not noisy. Had the best experience.

The access was easy and there are posters with information everywhere, which I like but some people might find a bit out of touch.

Lovely place. It's not huge but things are in the perfect place to make it look spacious. Beds have black out curtains so it's very private. Loved it!

On Booking it says 'breakfast included' but this is actually only some small toasts, jams, cookies and coffee (powder) / tea, so this didn't really count as a breakfast to us.

Cute little hostel with comfy beds, a kitchen at your disposal, a big common area and a garden. The owner is very friendly and will help you with anything you need. He arranged a taxi for us to go to the Perito Moreno glacier. It's far from the bus station, but in walking distance of the city center.

Our second stay here. It's one of the cleanest hostels I have stayed in. You can see that they work hard to maintain it. The location is great and a short walk to the town and a supermarket just down from the hostel. The owner Andy is really friendly and makes you feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend if going to El Calafate. The only thing to note is that it says that breakfast is included but this consists of biscuits and small dried tostadas and jams.

On the day you check out you are not allowed to be in the hostel at all past 10am. I had to wait for my taxi outside because she did not let me wait inside ?? generally unsociable.

It seemed deserted! This may have just been whilst I was there but it was not sociable at all for if you’re a solo traveller looking to make friends. Also the wifi barely works and the plug next to my bed was broken so couldn’t be used.

The beds were comfortable and had a nice sense of privacy.
