How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The house is a little bit out of town very quite place but you need to walk little bit

Just too far out of town (half an hour walk) which I normally wouldn't mind too much but the tours all leave at 6:30/7 to the Salt Flats/Cayafate etc and most tour companies won't come here to pick you up so you have to walk into town at 6am.
Clean and comfortable Good WiFi and shower Well stocked kitchen that you can use The owner is very helpful Quiet place if you need to work Softest bed I have had since being in South America

It is a little bit far away from the center (~25min walk), but bus & taxi are not far away. If you come home in the middle of the night you have to phone the host (we never had the feeling it is not OK, but you have to wake them up :-)). The breakfast is everyday the same and could be a bit more shuffled.
This was one of the best accommodation in our Argentina trip. The hosts are living there, but it doesn't feel so. Very nice garden, nice rooms. Stores & a supermarket are very nearby.

Eduardo was super helpful with anything I needed and gave many recommendations! It’s a 15 minute walk to the center but in a really quiet neighborhood and the hostel is beautiful. highly recommend!

We were in the only room with a personal bathroom, however there was no water pressure in the shower so we had to use the shared shower. The host seemed to imply that this wasn’t a regular problem tho.
Really enjoyed the breakfast. The host was very accommodating and friendly

I had a great stay in Salta that was made particularly pleasant staying at Accueillant. Eduardo and his family are all fantastic hosts and very accommodating for whatever requests I had. They also arranged for tours around the Salta area. The place is a bit off center, but a nice walk to the city and all the amenities are found around the hostel. It made for a quiet stay, which was perfect for me.

The hostel is about 2 km from the city center. If you are a walker this won't be a problem. Otherwise you need to consider extra costs in public transportation or taxis.
The owners of the hostel are lovely people who are dedicated day and night to help the guests in any possible way.

This is a family-run establishment. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The facilities were good. The common areas were spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious. They had a space heater available upon request for the room, though ultimately I didn't need it (June 2022). The neighborhood felt safe. I would definitely recommend Accueillant and and would stay there again if I returned to Salta.

The staff (family business) were really nice, service off the chart. The rooms and all the facilities were very clean. Had a nice stay in a 2 bed room. The city center is approx 20-30 minutes. Its quote far, but the walk is olay. Safe neighborhood.

the staff, especially Eduardo, were so friendly and helped us with everything we need. We felt really welcome and enjoyed our stay. The room was perfect, very clean und the bathroom (s) modern! First we thought, it's a little bit of the center but you can do it to the center in 15-20 minutes walk or take a bus right in front.

Everything was wonderful
The BEST hostel in Argentina. I have being in Argentina already 2 month, was in 15 cities and 13 hostels. But this one is the best. Very clean hostel, comfortable rooms and beds, clean bathroom and toilets, tasty breakfests, eniugh electricity places to recharge your phone. Each detail and thing is for comforte of the guests. The owners are hospitable, help with logistics in my trip, wiyh taxi, ptlrovide the information about Salta and saroundings, and assist with tours for good price. You will feel yourself like at home here. I tried to stay here as much as possible to recover, sleep, enjoy my trip and being in Salta and Argentina. Really highly recommend this hostel. They are the best. And thank the owners - you are really professionals in hospitality and it feels how strong you live what you do ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
