We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FranceThe only hotel in a month of travel that charged me at a "tourist exchange rate" as they call it. I wonder if it's even legal? The bottle of water or chips in the room is chargeable, it does not correspond to the standard of a 4* (especially since the prices are not indicated in the room and suggest that it is indeed complimentary). You book a late check-out until 2pm, but the front desk calls you at 10.30am to rush you ...because their software is apparently not up to date

United StatesThe hotel is on a main street in Ushuaia and you can hear the traffic, noise from your room.
You book this hotel for its location especially if you are going on a cruise. They are very well versed in luggage storage, cruise drop-off points, and in just being super helpful with questions about cruises. Breakfast buffet was amazing, wifi was excellent, and rooms were comfortable. The value for the money was excellent. Front desk staff was helpful and accommodating.

United KingdomThe pre-payment was a disaster. The hotel kept trying to take payment in pounds but using the Argentine peso amount, so £116,000 GBP. This clearly kept getting declined and the hotel insisted it was due to the exchange rate, not their error, and the booking would be cancelled if I didn't authorise the payment. Booking.com intervened but it still wasn't resolved, so I turned up at the hotel not knowing if I had a reservation or not. Thankfully it turned out fine in the end but the lack of communication (it took days to get a response from the hotel) and the error in using the wrong currency was pretty stressful.
Once we arrived, the staff were helpful and friendly. The location really can't be beaten and the rooms are comfortable.

United KingdomOur ground floor room was very warm and could only be cooled by opening the window... not perfect on the ground floor.
Very comfortable bed, we slept well. Location close to the cruise terminal and the main shopping drag... no need for transfers other than to the airport. Spa facilities looked good, although we didn't have time to use them. Perfect place for a pre or post cruise. We hired a car to explore the area so free parking was useful.

The location is great. Within a quick walking distance to everything in the small city. The hotel itself is very nice, has a great breakfast spread and very good dinner restaurant. The rooms were well appointed, clean and modern. The staff was very friendly, helpful and took care of all my needs.
