Such a lovely, beautiful and cozy place to stay at ! Ideally located, very clean, beautiful place, I love the roses on the outside ! The hostal was great, the staff was very friendly (she even gave us a little map and stickers). The wifi worked very great and the location was very convenient. We were in a 5 min short walk from the main avenue. The breakfast was pretty average but enough to fill out stomachs. It’s a very well known hostel for all the tours and transfers.

Our bedroom and its shower room were excessively small and the plugs to charge electronics were behind the bed, not practical at all, very cramped. The breakfast is minimal: hard-boiled egg, fruit, bread with butter & jam.

The staff is very nice. The colors and gardens/flowers were beautiful. It is practical to have a kitchen. This is one of the rare affordable hotels that is in the center: go by foot to restaurants, cinema, supermarket, ... too many properties are 2-4km away, which is not as practical as Lago.

The noise, in the neighborhood (dogs barking all night) but also in the hotel, we could hear the people next door talking.

Dorm rooms were very small, not enough space for everyone to get in and out of bed easily without disturbing each other. Thin walls and automatic lights visible through gaps at top of door, so any late or early arrival/departure noise/movement in the hostel was a disturbance. Bathroom was not very private.

Super friendly and helpful staff, especially after getting stuck in town due to the strike. Eugene helped me to rearrange onward travel bookings and with translating Spanish. Good breakfast and facilities for making coffee/mate at other times.

It's advisable to either enhance the breakfast offerings or adjust expectations by not labeling it as a full breakfast, as just bread and jam fall short of a substantial meal. Ppl would be prepared in this case

The place is very clean, comfortable and the service is unbeatable. The location is very good, very close to the center with many cafes and bars around. Eugenio was very kind and attentive to us, I forgot some sunglasses in the room and he took the trouble to mail them to my destination! Thank you very much! 100% recommendable! I loved everything! Eugenio and Paloma are wonderful, cheerful, helpful hosts! We stayed during NYE and we were so happy that there was a group dinner organised in the common dinner area in the hostel. Everybody brought or prepared something on the spot. The atmosphere, the people and the meal was lovely and such a cool way to welcome the New Year. Our room was comfortable and cozy, equipped with all we needed. The breakfast was included with the private room and the breakfast options were quite decent - toast, eggs, apples, coffee and more. The garden and the flowers were beautiful too.

Beds not super comfortable. The hostel was also not super social, but maybe that was just my timing.

Honestly these guys had the perfect hostel setup. Everyone has a big locker outside the room, and there are only a few beds in each room. Nice kitchen, nice breakfast, friendly staff.
