The social activities were often out of our budget, but we seemed to be in the minority with that as they were always well attended.

The room and facilities were clean. Staff were helpful. The whatsapp group was useful and it was great that staff updated it every day with activities.

A friendly and social yet relaxed hostel, well located in San Telmo. This is the second time I’ve stayed here and I would stay again. Clean room with comfortable bed, good common areas, plenty of activities available via the hostel, and friendly and helpful staff.

The only think that could use a repair is the pool table downstairs which was in bad shape.

The staff was fantastic and super helpful with every possible question. The free walking tours, free Spanish lessons, pub craws with Roman and other activities that were provided were a great offer. Also the location in the heart of San Telmo was outstanding and the block was super safe at night. Stayed in a private room and it was incredibly clean and with AC.

Bit pricey

The staff was really kind! They helped me with some random issues and made me feel very welcome. They organized many activities (the walking tour was nice) and there are often people hanging out at the couch ready for a chat. It’s easy to socialize here at any time of day (or night). They have an active WhatsApp group for all people in the hostel. Also, the rooms were clean, nice curtains for the beds, big lockers. Good location.

The location was perfect in the heart of San Telmo. The staff at the hostel were uniquely friendly and very helpful with everything. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them once again! Parts of the hostel could do with a bit of a refresh, but this is very minor.

The hostel was really sociable- the staff organised multiple events everyday which were easy to take part in. It was also really easy to do your own thing if you didn’t fancy it. People genuinely used the communal areas so you could easily meet other people. They also cleaned rooms everyday and provided towels and toiletries if you book a private room.

Very good place, clean and comfortable! The stuff was very helpful in any question I had. They offer a lot of activities like free tours, tango lessons and cultural experience. Also you can by a claro Sim card and exchange money so it is really comfortable.

Kitchen equipment was well past its use-by date, definitely needs new pots and pans, as well as something to make our own coffee with (basic plastic coffee filter holder, cafetière or aeropress). Also the rooms were slightly dated and worn in but nothing really to stress about.

The ultimate staff team, and the one stop shop for all Buenos Aires needs. Really want to stress how great the team are and how they made our stay really enjoyable. This felt like a proper hostel with a great hostel spirit. I can see why it has had such past accolades. Their events are also fun and inventive. Also its location in San Telmo is great.

Not so much the hostel but the tours included weren’t great. We paid a lot to go to a guided Boca game and there was no guidance so we ended up not able to see the game, a massive waste of money!

Wifi was a bit spotty. The shower in the dorm room was a little bit tight for space, though not a huge deal.

Clean, lots of communal spaces to hang out in. Great location in San Telmo. Bunk bed was great quality and didn’t shake around.

The location was great- centrally located and walkable with grocery stores and restaurants close by. The bed was really comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful especially when a friend due to travel strikes had to unexpectedly arrive in the middle of of the night . Baggage storage convenient for an evening departure. Extremely satisfied with my overall experience.
