If we hadn't had our own vehicle it would have been a bit of a walk but totally doable to the restaurants on the main street. It's beyond worth it for the attention and treatment you get though.

The staff were amazing at communicating and anticipating our needs. The grounds were immaculate and the property itself was lovely with a couple of very friendly dogs around for extra companionship.

the room was quite dark, the hot tub was difficult to operate. restaurant, bar and jacuzzi where closed. sometimes friendly staff, but sometimes not. a bit disappointed

Wonderful staff made our stay so good! Especially Belen and Nasaret... So delightful, patient and kind. The views over Lago Argentino are stunning with flamingoes in the distance. The rooms are very comfortable and impeccably clean. Breakfast was very good, with the lovely service from Felize. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to El Calafate!

Belen, at reception was wonderful - so helpful on the phone, despite our limited language! She went alive and beyond to help us with an issue (our own mistake). The location, outside of the town centre necessitates the use of a car, but the views are far reaching and you could stay here all day just looking out across the amazing landscape. It is warm and comfortable and the stag are all lovely.

Stayed in a “bungalow” - website said it was self-contained but failed to indicate it shared a paper-thin wall with neighbors on both sides, like a townhouse. so thin we could hear the neighbors cough. Also was sweltering and the windows barely opened. When we changed hotels as a result, the front desk bruskly informed us payment was still due (no kidding) and didn’t try to fix the issue in any way.

**Hot tube was old and not usable** Radiator heaters did not work well. No insulation between walls (noise). Bathroom was wanting; toilet seat would not stay up, shower was comically small, air gap in entrance door required repair, need bench next to twin bed for suitcase, need waste basket upstairs.

Morning staff was VERY professional. View from the Lodge was fantastic. Good bed linens and pillows. Breakfast was good and our server was super friendly.

There was not enough staff to run this place and everyone was overtaxed including the breakfast shift. Perhaps this is a post covid fall-out with service shortages. Considering the spectacular location, there were very few places for people to sit outside and enjoy the beauty ... except for the one deck. Our toilet ran and a few things needed some upkeep.

The view of Lake Argentina and the surrounding landscape is beautiful. Sitting on the main deck looking out was heavenly. We were four people in a cabin and the rooms and facilities were well designed and comfortable. The grand living room of the hotel with its massive fireplace would be amazing in colder weather, but it was warm when we were there and we wanted to be outside!!

I was charged one extra night than the one used, due to a change in the flight. Informing 7 days before was not enough for the hotel. They are very strict for invoicing rules but the room was not ready on my arrival to the hotel, 1.5 hours past the time it should be available for the guests. Rules are follow according their convenience.

There were several miscommunications between the staff which led to some unpleasant and stressful situations for us. They didn’t seem to know who we were/what our name was and confused us with other guests. 1. This lead to them sending 2 tour operators to our breakfast table to harass us and insist we were late for their tour. Once we offered to show them our tour voucher they were like, “well that’s not our tour company” - as if this mix up were our fault?!? 2. We asked for a late checkout (11am) and were told yes that’s fine. On the day of check out we received a call at 10:20, asking us why we were still in the room. We explained that the evening receptionist has said we could check out at 11 but they said it was impossible that someone has said that, so we had to rush to leave the room. 3. They take responsibility for ordering food to take on tours. We got the wrong order with another guest’s name attached. So if you have dietary requirements be careful if you order this service from them. honestly, until the checkout issue happened we were still planning on returning to the hotel to stay more time but after that last stressful situation, there is no way we would return and we won’t be recommending this place to our friends. if you want a stress free holiday, I suggest you stay elsewhere.

The location and the views are great. The property itself is cozy and has a warm feeling to it.

The hotel is beautiful! Our room was very comfortable and had an amazing view overlooking the lake. We loved jacuzzi and the view from it! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The best hotel I have ever visited! Both the hotel and the room are of a high level and there is a breathtaking view from every corner of the hotel! The hotel staff are also very nice:)

The jacuzzi was cold, the shower and heating were not warm enough for winter. We had to ask to please make it hotter. The first breakfast we didn’t get any coffee. For the hotel type, that was not Sofi acceptable.

In the restaurant The View they must install a protective mesh or glass in the handrails. It is dangerous without that.

The views are amazing. The place is confortable. Luciana at the front desk is fantastic.
