How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Breakfast was not much and the blue dollar rate is used. Need to ring the bell to get in.

The room i stayed in is not properly ventilated, its meant to be a storage room instead and they made it a shared room. Also, Did not like seeing kids at the hostel but i guess thats my mistake for not checking if they were allowed. i guess its more of a hotel than a hostel really.
good location, free parking, free breakfast, excelent kitchen, really hot showers, beautiful patio, great warm cozy chimney.

This hostel was very clean and the staff was so friendly. It is in a perfect location with an amazing pool and patio. They serve a very nice breakfast every morning and they have a very nice kitchen for cooking your own meals. I highly recommend staying here.

onboarding was a bit rude, as there was a misunderstanding between the staff ownership and what was booked through booking.com. although the situation was solved, it was not pleasant.
Breakfast was included, is a basic breakfast, rooms were spacious but the bunk beds were too low to sit on them without bumping your head.

There are no lockers for the things. 3 story bunk beds are very tight No way of getting in and out by yourself.

I’d give a 10 if it wasn’t for the fact we didn’t feel welcome. We had been travelling for 10h by bus and we tried to check in earlier than 2pm, the room wasn’t ready(which it’s fine) but didn’t feel welcome to wait there nor use the facilities… Nothing particularly bad but felt the vibe was off for a hostel.

There was no reception area, which would have helped the place feel a bit more friendly. It was incredibly dark inside, and unfortunately quite empty, which didn't exactly set the mood for a lovely stay in Córdoba. Also, having made a mistake with the booking, there wasn't much flexibility regarding refunds - something that has been possible elsewhere. Appreciate it's tough for everyone, but we were looking forward to our time in Córdoba, and the hostel contributed very little towards achieving this.
We didn't get breakfast - supposedly misunderstood the time. Was offered some toast instead.

- the staff wasn't very friendly and it was also unclear who belonged to the staff and who didn't - the room didn't have a window - breakfast was extremely basic - the outside door wasn't accessible so people always had to ring the doorbell to get in which was very annoying in the mornings - the atmosphere didn't feel very friendly
- the pool area was nice although we didn't try the pool as it was too cold - bathroom was quite big

The location is not very good. It's far to the cool busy places and at night you don't feel safe. The hosts dont give you the code for the door outside, so you have to wait until somebody is opening, even at night. The breakfast is very poor. I don't need much but you can't call this breakfast!! And we didn't got what we booked. We booked a Deluxe Doubleroom...we arrived and they told us, the room is not ready yet, if we want, we can have another room earlier for 1000 Pesos more. We said we'll wait. And he said, he will still give us the other room as an "Upgrade". Means...the room was not free and he tried to sell us the other room. "Upgrade" means, a 5 bedroom, which wasn't finished yet, no shampoo, sope, towels, hairdryer, or anything else, we should have in our deluxe room...
The Idea behind the Hostel is very good. Very nice style. The Garden with the Pool and BBQ very pretty, but somehow nobody was there. The Stuff was friendly, at least to my Italian boyfriend.

The "included breakfast" is just some mini baguette with marmelade packages and a tea. It was even after getting new bread which we had to ask for not nearly enough for even one person. The checkout time is at 12 and we were not allowed to stay a minute longer at the hostel, even though we had a bus at 11 in the night and it was raining outside. The manager asked us to buy another night even if we just wanted to stay in the lobby. The manager itself was kind of rude after we asked him why that was and told us that the cost of the light that we would use up meant we couldnt stay.
The hostel regarding the amenities and cleanliness was nice. Also most of the staff was polite and helpful. They kept our luggage for the rest if the day on the departure day, we had to leave it in the lobby under some tables though.
