The atmosphere and people were exceptional! One night we had an ad-hoc, family-style BBQ during which Leo assisted us with the purchase and proper grilling techniques for the local Argentine meat. The hostel is a roughly 40-minute walk from the trailheads for a couple highly recommended day hikes as well. While the location is outside of the tourist center, you can catch the colectivos for free into town or take an Uber for around 2.000 pesos. Overall, it was a warm and familial environment with guests from many countries alongside Argentineans where you can comfortably cook yourself a nice meal and share a drink with other guests. Super nice hostel. Not the experience you usually get, it´s more like you are part of a big family. But can totally recommend. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is super nice and helfpul. Would definitely stay there again.

so kindful hostel in ushuaia. not in downtowm but worthful. u just knee to know how get there by bus. 1.buy sube card(public bus card) and charge it. take 1 time is $50 2.find google map "IOSFA- Delegación Provincial Tierra del Fuego" 3.ride bus line C (minibus) 4.say "caballo de fuego" to driver 5.fin use localbus app "mi bondi"

Best hostel in Ushuaia. Very authentic, fantastic hosts and a really good place to meet other people. Public transport out the front. Would without a doubt stay here again.

I love this place and Gabriela as very friendly host. There’s nothing I didn’t like. It’s cosy yet spacious. Curtains at the beds could be an asset in the future.

The hosts are very friendly and you instantly feel like a part of the family. They give good advice for planing your activities. The national park is reachable by foot, so you can start hikes right from the hostel. There is also a bus station right in front of the door connecting you to the center of Ushuaia. The kitchen is well equipped.

Further from the city, but that has been known in advance. A little weird that a lot of people from Ushuaia are living there in another rooms.

The hostel is a long way out of Ushuaia and difficult to find when it is dark (which it inevitably is because it seems the coach from Rio Gallegos is always late.) Mixed area with quite a lot of stray or untrained dogs (some of which you need to be careful of.) It can be awkward not knowing where the boundary between the hostel guests and the family is.

Friendly and welcoming, this place definitely has a traveller's vibe. A good place to meet people and converse. High quality bunk beds (although why no ladder for the top bunk ?) Always hot water in the shower and basin.

The room was very crowded without any space for backpack or lockers. And there is no comfort common area, just a table to eat. In summary - the family are welcoming, the place is not...
