Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceWe were welcomed in a really incredible way. The surroundings are amazing, and you really feel alone in this beautiful landscape. Eventhough we were the only client staying that night, the staff was amazing, and we really felt perfectly taken care of. We also got a really intersting tour of the winery, and the food ( both restaurant and breakfast) was perfect. The exterior spaces as well as the bedroom itself is fabulous. The dog brenda is also really cute! We can only recommand 100% this amazing hotel

CanadaWe LOVED our stay at La Casa! We were welcomed by Frederico Gimenez-Riili himself! He showed us around, explained us how it all started and catered to our needs through our entire stay! The restaurant was amazing, one of the best (if not the best) meal we had on our trip! The breakfast was awesome as well, we were not expecting so much options with the buffet style. It’s located in the middle of the vineyard which only added a layer of amazingness to our stay! The stay also comes with a visit of the winery and surprises in the room that were truly perfect! Hats off to the team that made our stay memorable!

BrazilTo the guests that have an early schedule, the breakfast could be served earlier (even though to us, it was arranged a night before *so sweet).
I loved everything... from the staff to the Sunset Time. All the services provided and the whole experience was amazing.

United KingdomThere is a restaurant attached to the property where you could book dinner in the evening. We ate there one night and it was very disappointing. The service was slow - we had to ask twice for water, again to see the wine list (staying in a vineyard!), napkins arrived half way through our meal and having asked for salt & pepper (there was none on the table) I went to find some myself after the pepper grinder I was eventually given proved to be empty. All of this would be understandable if the restaurant was busy and the staff rushed off their feet. It was not and they weren’t! I had risotto (bland, runny and pretty tasteless), my daughter had a creamy pasta dish (she was similarly unimpressed) and my husband had gazpacho which he enjoyed - although he did have to ask for bread to accompany it. Perhaps we would have been safer choosing more meaty options? If you are staying here, eat elsewhere. There are several other restaurants nearby which are easy enough to get to if you have a car.
Beautiful hotel with spacious and well appointed rooms. Lovely touches such as a welcome bottle of wine, in-room coffee machine, comfortable bath robes and fresh water & chocolates delivered to the room every night. The views were beautiful, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

United StatesIt's not a problem per se, unless you plan on doing things in Mendoza proper, then you'll need to rent a car. The location is about 1.5 hours from the Mendoza Airport, but I loved the drive.
The scenery is amazing. It has the snow-capped Andes as a stunning backdrop. The green areas are well maintained and beautifully landscaped. There are two friendly property dogs that I was seriously debating on taking home because of how sweet they are. Will be coming back

United StatesBetter to have a car, since everything is far away and sometimes it is not easy to find a cab or an Uber. The room could be a little better. We missed a few amenities in the bathroom. The gym could also be improved, but the cost benefit overall was excellent.
Very well located in the heart of the Uco Valley. Staff was exceptional and we had the chance to meet with the owner. They also have a very good restaurant that we enjoyed a lot. The wine tour was also great

Location is perfect, in the heart of Valle de Uco, the best part of "wine Country Mendoza". The place has only 7 rooms, very simple, but well equipped, next to Gimenez Riili family winery, in the middle of a perfect place, surrounded by vine trees. Perfect breakfast, perfect ambience. And a very well trained staff, always helping you in every single detail. You also can get bicycles to ride to somo other neighbor wineries that are closeby
