How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

If it were possible, I would rate the Cassa Lepage Art Hotel with significantly more than 10 points. Located in the historic center of Buenos Aires, the hotel is a perfect symbiosis of carefully restored historic architecture with high-quality, contemporary hotel facilities. Exhibits of contemporary art on display in the hotel, information on the history of the building, large roof terraces and an elegant lobby round off the excellent overall impression. The entire hotel staff was extremely friendly and supportive with a discretion commensurate with the elegance of the hotel. The hotel room and bathroom were unusually, large and very comfortable. The breakfast offer was extensive and tasted good. Very good value for money. Cassa Lepage Art Hotel was one of the best hotel experiences in recent years. I highly recommend Cassa Lepage Art Hotel.

Rooms are large but a little empty design wise.
Great location. Friendly staff. Large rooms. All very simple but comfortable at the same time. Breakfast was good and they cook up hot dishes for you.

The noise from the streets at night might be an issue for some (was not for me) so keep in mind if you need absolute quiet! A trolley of some sort to help guests carry luggage up to their rooms would likely be appreciated - some guests struggled to get their bags to the lift.
A truly unique place, hotel, art gallery and museum conveniently located in Monserrat, BA with an easy walk to San Telmo, the bus stop for the city tour buses, a range of popular tourist sites, cafes (don't miss the lovely Nica Cafe and empanada shop a few steps away), restaurants and more. Rooms (including bathroom) are extremely spacious with wonderfully high ceilings, furnished in a minimalist style without sacrificing the amenities and comfort that would be expected, and spotless. There was a small balcony overlooking C Bolivar so you could see the world go by (and check on the weather!). Hotel provided umbrellas for guests, a thoughtful touch since it was very rainy and staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast - the standard fare - was ample. A great base for immersing yourself in the local culture without the hordes of tourists you might find closer to the Mercado area.

The lack of natural light in our room 101.
The Hotel is like a living Museum. We love the location in San Telmo. Breakfast was very good, with lots of fresh fruits. Ruben and Paola were looking after us very well during our stay.

What a little gem situated in San Thelmo in an historic building with a preserved archeological dig open to guests to view. The rooms were very comfortable.

Hard to complain about this place.

Absolutely charming. There’s art everywhere you look, and a little museum in the basement. The whole building is art. Delightful to be in. The staff was also amazing and super helpful with anything we needed. We really appreciated them.

Just a personal preference, i prefer a separate shower instead of a bath/shower combination. The airconditioning in the room was rather noisy
breakfast buffet was not too large, but all produce where fresh, very high quality, excellent coffee, and overall very tastefull. The staff was very friendly and helpfull.

We loved each everything
It was an amazing stay. We loved everything about it. The staff was incredible. The building and the renovation, the arts on the wall , the coffee terrace, the breakfast, everything was amazing!! We warmly recommend it.

A room with a some kind of a view would have been nicer. I do typically like some kind of fitness room or pool - but it didn't really matter in the end.
