How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The lifts work a little funny (you press the button at one lift and the other one comes that is at the other end of the corridor, far from where you called it), didn’t quite understand the logic of it.
Grand Brizo La Plata was absolutely amazing! The hotel is 5 star, a beautiful, modern building with great facilities. Breakfast was good, I loved the different kinds of croissants and the freshly squeezed pomelo juice. Swimming pool is also top notch! Highly recommended if you want to stay in a luxurious hotel at a very good price.

would be nice to have slippers in the rooms
The hotel is a real five star hotel. It’s very clean, rooms are spacious and well equipped. The view from the ninths floor is outstanding. The rooftop-Bar allows a very cosy and idyllic sundowner before you can have a very decent dinner with excellent food in the restaurant in the hotel. the personal is very well trained, very friendly and professional. The personal speaks English- not very often found in Argentina. Especially Mr. Curt from the reception rendered an excellent service. The hotel is definitely worth the money. I will come back!

Perfect sound insulation, excellent swimming pool and gym, wonderful continental breakfast, perfect Staff that spoke very good English, wonderful views from the gym and the swimming pool, very comfortable bed, nice sound air conditioning, very good place for working in the room, exceptionally comfortable bathroom. All aspects are 10/10.

the pool was full of chlorine to the point it ruined my jewellery. And the room service wasn’t great. I’ve ordered a burger and it was super hard like overcooked.

The pillows are very high and hard, which is uncomfortable for people with cervical problems (as in my case).
The hotel staff was always very attentive to details, they consistently looked for ways to please us as guests and solved all our special needs (eg: very late checkout free of charge).

The climatization system made a very loud sound in our room which didn’t let us sleep properly. It was a shame, because the room was really nice.
The hotel is beautiful and clean. The staff is super attentive and nice.

The only thing I would suggest is to leave the coffee capsules on the room and the waters should be courtesy but that's up to the hotel.
Breakfast was great. We had an amazing time at the hotel, the bed was extra comfy and the bathroom was amazing too. The pool and the view looked amazing but we couldn't use it because it was too cold.

Restaurant at lobby is bad. Food quality is low. Elevators. You can wait them for 10-15 minutes... Rooms are very cold in winter. Air Conditioners takes too much time to make room warm. Issues with hot water. We wanted to take a bath but was not able to make it. Water pool is bad organized. No comfortable place to change dress. Water is dirty. My silver ring become black after water pool.
