Joel and his wife are both so friendly. Joel gives tips to all travelers about the treks. And every time end of the day asks to people how their hike went. So they make you feel really cared. The location of the hostel is a bit of out of the center but it’s easy to go around with Uber or public bus. The kitchen has few equipment to cook, which is not the best but still sufficient.

Everything was perfect. Joel and Flor are the kindest hosts and very helpful. They can help with tips and information on what to do, and also book tours for a fair price. The place really feels like a home. Is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. They are not bunks, so it all feels very nice. I would definitely recommend. Just 30 meters away you can find a bakery and a parrilla. The buses stop 10m away from the house, so you can reach the center no problem and still have a more secluded feel.

I had such a great stay here!! Joel and Flor were both very warm, friendly and overall amazing hosts - always willing to lend a hand or give local insights/suggestions. They went above and beyond to make sure my boots were dry before I left after they got completely soaked on a hike on my last day (gracias!!!!). The place itself was very cozy, comfortable and clean. Warm beds, towels provided, great water pressure in the shower, ample space and bits&bobs in the kitchen to cook with. If you don’t feel like cooking, there are lots of food shops available nearby. A very generous breakfast is also provided every morning. If I ever return to Ushuaia, I already know where I’ll be staying! Thank you for your kindness and hospitality!!

Good vibe. It's like you're living at home with your family/friends. As for transportation, the hostel is located in residential area instead of downtown, therefore I have a chance to see the other side of Ushuaia by taking the bus, which is interesting and very different from tourist area, that would be a good option if you are interested about local life.

-commenly used bathroom could be cleaned more often. But ofcourse depends on the people staying there aswell.. -make sure to speak some spanish. The host won‘t understand english

-the hosts are great and taking a lot of time to explain you everything -the neighborhood is quite and safe. Unfortunately it‘s a few kilometers from the center, but there is a cheap public bus going like every 15 minutes. -some small grocery shops, restaurants and bakerys just around the corner -the bed was fresh and really comfortable -heating in every room. You won‘t be cold. Hot shower aswell. -small, but well equipped kitchen

It is a bit far, specially during mid night flight. This is easily accessible by car during night time and by bus during day time.

Host is very helpful and friendly, rare to find. A small cute family will host you. It was a pleasant stay. Quite clean and maintained. Facilities properly maintained and repaired. Wish the best of luck for the host. Hope they will provide this service to more people.

First impression of the property when you arrive is the not the best. There are no signs or indication of entrance, plus garden area could be more inviting. We found their system of not having keys in any rooms a little uncomfortable and there were no safe or lockers for valuables.

The hosts were super warm, friendly and provided a lot of great advice and suggestions about the area. The kitchen space is great, as it invites people to sit down together to eat and perfect for bonding. Location is far from the city centre but you can get a bus very easily and cheaply. Also the location is great for some hiking area like Lago Esmeralda.
