Nice calm and esp good, quiet, base in Tilcara. Great to be able to easily park in street and just short walk down into town. Rooms nice and clean. Staff were great and it has the relaxed atmosphere of a Hostel but some of Hotel services! Nice breakfast!

If there was one thing to mention maybe is that the room kept the warmth inside… so it was quite hot in the room sometimes

The entrance is not very welcoming as it’s locked up with the reception quite far inside the building. At the door you are spoken to through the intercom. When I arrived to be told through the intercom I had no booking and the door remained shut this was not a good introduction

Breakfast is minimal but adequate. You need to get to breakfast early if you want the orange juice.

There is very little common area and no one use it.

Friendly staff give you good advises & tips. Breakfast is fabulous. Dorm room is spacious & very comfy. Good view from the restaurant.

The only gripe we had during our stay was the extremely low water pressure in the bathroom (though it seemed that this was being addressed during the time of our stay, so perhaps it was a just-bad-timing thing).

Our three day stay at Hotel del Antiguo Convento was a delight. The staff was extremely helpful in the lead up to our arrival, and this carried through to our actual stay (with a particular shout out to Carolina, who seemed to always be there and always ready to lend a hand or answer a question or offer advice). The property itself is cozy, unique, and very welcoming. I would even go so far as to say that it lends itself to a real sense of community. We also enjoyed the breakfast quite a bit, which featured home-baked breads and cakes!

Nothing that I don’t like, only thing that makes me not comfortable is someone in the dorm speaks so loud even after 1am. But it’s personal problem, not the hostel.

Location is good, breakfast was awesome, the staffs are friendly regardless of speaking Spanish or not. I just love this area.

Bed were small. My fiend fell out of bed. Coffee at Breakfast was reheated sometimes. Like it jut made je. We could use some help with luggage, since the propriety have stairs. Shampoo, conditioner and body soap could be better quality.

I loved the view from Breakfast room. The rooms where pretty clean. Location was good for the price. Some of the staff members were extra nice. The room was pretty quiet at night so we got a good sleep. Love that we can cook in the kitchen and eat at anytime our meal.

Wifi was good in the lobby but unstable in room.

Beautiful hostel located about 20 minutes walk from the bus terminal a few blocks from the main church and plaza. Gorgeous views from second floor dining area. Hearty breakfast with homemade bread and pastriea, plus fruit and cereal. Very clean. Friendy staff with lots of practical info on how to visit the major nearby attractions in your own without paying for a tour.
