The property is many blocks away from the center of the city, but the lagoon is close by and there are a few good restaurants close too

It was simple but comfortable. If it had a fireplace, it would have been perfect. The staff was exceptional. They spoke English and gave good advice and arranged things quickly. There was a restaurant for guests that served good food and the free breakfasts were very good.

Quiet location, a bit further out of the main area. Nice comfortable rooms. The host Hannah is very warm and welcoming. She gave us many useful tips and recommendations and was able to arrange taxi transfer for us which made it very convenient

The room could have been cleaner. The heating system cannot be entirely switch off so it was sometimes too warm.

Ana and the staff were really nice in helping us with excursion booking and tips on the town and overall the structure holds a rustic charm.

Unfortunately the wall is very thin, we can hear the room next door if they are loud. We went on the town concert weekend, and the music is so loud we can hear everything. Location is a bit far from the city.

Very cosy, feels like home. Lake next by is very very beautiful, we do enjoy it a lot. The breakfast is good, not a lot but enough to enjoy. Very quite, safe and peaceful area.

The wifi isn’t very strong (couldn’t read emails most of the time we were there). It wasn’t a huge deal we just used it as an excuse to go to a local coffee shop for a bit.

The daily breakfast spread was great. We had dinner here one night and it was one of the best on our trip. The staff is extremely kind and very helpful.

the lady’s of the breakfast were not friendly, cleared the breakfast exactly at 10 without asking if we still wanted anything. in fact when we wanted to get another coffe from the machine, they said no ! breakfast time is over. this was 1 minute after 10.

Lovely, comfy, quiet, homey place. Nice sized rooms with nice amenities like tea in the room, extra pillows. Very comfortable and you could adjust the temperature. Breakfast was not super abundant but adequate. We liked the location but it is a little walk to the center of town, which we didn't mind at all. We would stay here again.

The room was very small and uncomfortable if you were anywhere but in bed- not what the website pictures showed. No views. Breakfast was plenty and, per the hotel, home made, but its quality was mediocre. The location is very conveninet to the Nimez nature preserve but a 15min walk to main street.

The front desk were outstanding, friendly and helpful. The area is quiet and pleasant.

The hotel is nice overall, but it looks like it has seen better days. The rooms are old and would benefit from better maintenance or renovation. Our 2 rooms had multiple issues (e.g., toilet flush not working properly, radiator dripping, very old carpet). Nothing major, but we expected better given the price.

The hotel is located in a quiet part of town, near the lake, and yet it is easily accessible from town. The hotel staff was nice.

The team were very welcoming and helped with organising trips and advising on the local area. The rooms were really warm and cosy, ideal after day trips to ice glaciers! The location is ideal for walking into the centre of El Calafate but also having the nature reserve on the doorstep. Overall, great value for money.

Perhaps more options for breakfast, like more fruit, but only a minor thing :) also there isn’t really any WiFi which wasn’t ideal since I only had a WiFi working phone. However this still wouldn’t deter me for staying there again

This was the best stay I had whilst travelling South America. The staff were so friendly. A special shout out to Natalia, who stayed up past her shift to help me fill out and print documents needed for my trip the next morning. She also sorted me a map when I needed to get to the centre. I felt like there was nothing I couldn’t ask of the staff, and I would go back for Natalia’s service alone. The rooms are cosy and comfortable too, with plush duvets and common areas. Only a 20 min walk to beach on the lake, and 15 min walk to the shops and restaurants. Could not recommend this accommodation more!

Cousy and chill enviroment. The staff was always keen to help. The bar has a few but worthy option to dine. We ate there the best cazuela de cordero ever. The wiFi worked pretty well considering the poor wifi signal of the region. We highly recommend this Hosteria.
