Not to say that I dislike the location. It's away from the town and serene. It's just that you might need a car to commute. I am driving so I have no problem at all.

The staff was fantastic. The hotel had a beautiful view of the lake, and we would absolutely stay here again. Breakfast was good and we ate dinner there one night and it was good.

It's far from the centre 45 min walk. If walking is not your thing, you need a taxi 5/8 pesos. The blanket was not clean and we had to ask for another, which we received promptly, together with another pair of pillows, as they were too thin for us. Overall it was clean but needs some improvement.

Amazing panoramic views of Lake Argentino. We had dinner twice and the food was tasty. I'd recommend eating there. The communal places upstairs are nice to have, if you want to relax. All in all, I would stay again and recommend it

The staff were incredible. We had car troubles, and they let us use the lobby phone and use their personal cell as a hot spot for better wifi. They also looked up and sent us What's App contacts for the rental company without even being asked. And the rooms were awesome- clean, quiet, and comfortable. The shampoo and conditioner were the best I found in the previous weeks of travel, too.

Wi-Fi almost does not work in the room, only in the lobby area. Breakfast very basic and the same every day. The hotel is at the end of the town, walking to/from the town is possible. It took us one hour each way.

Spacious room and bathroom. Clean and very calm. On the hill with a nice view over the lake. Has free parking. On the way to Perito Morreno.

Overall we loved staying here. The only thing to mention is that the Wi-Fi doesn’t really work in the rooms themselves. It works perfectly well in the sitting areas and all common spaces. We enjoyed sitting on the couches to use the internet, it’s very comfortable. If you are someone who needs to be connected at all times to internet, that may bother you. Also there are radiators for heat in the rooms but they are small and at the opposite end of the room from the bed and do not radiate heat so it was a little cold sometimes. (We were there in the summer , Patagonia is cool even in summer, so keep this in mind if you go during winter)

It was so comfortable and cozy! We felt very relaxed and like we were staying at a good friends house. The rooms were extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. We asked for extra pillows and another blanket and we received them with no problem. There were multiple sitting areas with couches and armchairs and lamps and they look out over the beautiful lake and scenery. The restaurant located on the property is excellent, delicious food. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every day, there was a lot of variety and fresh ingredients. We had a couple dinners there as well and found the food delicious, creative ,and of good quality. Bottles of wine were also available for a variety of budgets. The staff is amazing, so friendly and welcoming and professional! Highly recommend this hotel!

Some of the bathroom fixtures & window treatments had seen better days, but everything was functional. The place has a lot of character.

Friendly staff, beautiful & quiet location at end of town. Perfect to drive to Perito Moreno. Good food available in room service. Lovely breakfast area with view of the lake.

The view of the lake was beautiful, located on a small hill that overlooked Lago Argentino. Upstairs lounge is lovely, have a glass of wine and relax while getting excellent Wi-Fi. Because our room was far away so stay close to the lobby.

Pretty hotel a little bit outside of El Calafate (car or taxi required) with lovely views over the lake. Staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good.

Unfortunately the heating in our room wasn't regulatable and it was too warm for us at night. When opening the window, car noise from the street was bothersome. Even though it came with the upside of the amazing flowery smell you have from the plants on the property. Hope they fix the heating issue, then it would be a 10/10 for us

The Hostería is beautifully decorated, has amazing views and a lot of well thought corners to sit down and relax with a book. The terrace view is unbeatable, they have the loveliest dog called negro (give him a pat and treat from us, if you go ;) ) and the restaurant is incredible. We ended up repeating dinner, since we loved it so much.

Rooms are spacious but a bit outdated. While, overall, the restaurant is good, we were surprised by some restrictions: for example, you cannot order a mix salad on its own, only as a side to a meat meal (kinda a blow to vegetarians) and while there are different types of ice cream you can order as a desert, a calafate ice-cream you can only order as a part of a "complex" desert.

Excellent staff who strives to assist and communicates all necessary information before and during the stay really makes planning easy and convenient, we really appreciated all help we received. The rooms are spacious, some with great views. There is a comfortable spacious common area, with excellent views, on the second floor to rest and work. There is a restaurant, too. Overall, excellent price/quality ratio.

Room was too hot.

Very friendly staff, nice views from the hotel, plenty of room to park, the right side of town for the Puerto Moreno glacier. Lovely breakfast. Relaxing lounge for guests.

Bathroom floors were not totaly clean, there were hairs in one of the towels. Just needed a little more detail on the cleaning part.

The ladies that work there, the view, the breakfast area, the coffee, the whole ambiance of the hotel. Front desk lady was very accommodating with us, we arrived very late and she communicated detailed instructions on how to get in and find our rooms.
