I do miss a television in the room. During fall/winter you usually come back early to your room to the sunset is early and the weather is very cold. So, a television in the room will help relax before sleeping. We also missed the restaurant. It was closed due the low season.

The location is perfect closest to the main streets in El Calafate. Stores and restaurants are just few steps from the hotel. The breakfast is nice. The stall is super super friendly! I do love Shen, the cute cat. She is the “owner” of the place. She decides everything and we loved her.

It’s very comfortable. Big and comfortable beds. Very friendly staff that helped us book excursion to the glacier. They also kindly help with transport from the airport too.

The breakfast was basic with cold foods without variation from day to day. Also, the shower curtain was dirty and needs replacing. Payment was required in cash (USD or Arg Peso) which they contacted me about in advance but I could not find this clause in the booking details.

We had a lovely stay at Kau Kaleshen. The location was just perfect, located only a few blocks from the main street. The room was simple but cozy for our family of four. The shared space for reading, watching television, or petting the resident cat was quaint. It also offered a shared refrigerator to keep our lunch fresh for the following days’ excursion. The courtyard was a nice space for my kids to run and play outside safely. The staff speak English and were super helpful prior to and during the stay. They even offered to arrange our airport transportation in anticipation of our arrival.

Great location in the center of El Calafate close to restaurants and shops and tour drop offs. Rooms are old and a bit warn and need some tlc but for our purpose it was fine. You're out all day generally and the beds were comfortable and the showers hot. Breakfast is basic but sufficient.

The walls are quite thin so you do hear your neighbours. Breakfast is ok but more basic than the other places we stayed.

Breakfast was scant; adding eggs and more hot/cold cereal variety would seem to take little effort, giving the in-house kitchen. We stayed twice, different rooms: some of the linens need updating.

Good location 1 block from Main Street in city center, easy walk to eating, bars and shopping. Easy $3 taxi service from bus station, $20 to airport. Adequate for all our needs, but is a modest accommodation. Staff were especially helpful and provided excellent guidance in visiting Glaciers Park. Payment is cash, but exchange rate for $USD was good and easy at Reception (much better than at bank or ATM). Food and discount at restaurant was great.

The room was not sound proof. I use the earplugs anyway while I sleep, so it did not bother my sleep.

Staff was great. They were friendly and very professional too. They helped me tremendously when I had a problem with my flight cancellation due to the strike. In the end, all sorted out well. The extra day I had to stay due to a flight cancellation ended up being a best day of my whole trip! Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Housekeeping team was great. They cleaned the room everyday. It was nice coming back to the fresh room after the tour. The hotel also has a common area which is really nice with comfortable sofas and good Wi-Fi. If you have to work remotely (unfortunately) during the trip, you can work in the common area. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. They opened at 6 30 AM for the people leaving early for the tour. The lady working in the breakfast area was nice too. The last thing to mention, don't forget to try the restaurant. The food we ordered was all delicious and the staffs offered a very good service. If I am fortunate enough to com back to El Calafate, this would be my choice for the hotel for sure!!!

the breakfast was great, the staff were incredible at every turn. From the kitchen staff for the amazing restaurant to leo and the other gentleman who's name I forgot, they were super helpful getting us travel plans for the perito moreno glacier and accomodating us by holding our luggage.

A perfectly nice motel, it is somewhat basic with most rooms off a court yard behind the main area. Rooms are standard with an adequate a comfortable and clean bed. Rooms are dark unless you open the shades into the court yard area.

Great location about 2 blocks behind the main downtown area with shops, restaurants, etc. Very safe and walkable.
