— Spa pool was NOT included, which is weird either for 4* or 5* hotels. You have to pay like $30 per hour. — The food in lobby bar was a disappointment. The food is not even tasty and on Friday they even served us frozen empanadas and cold pasta. — After check-out we asked the reception guys to call us a taxi, and what arrived was a disaster. An old dirty Chevrolet Cobalt in a very poor condition to say the least. That’s not how the guest should leave a 5* hotel.

— The staff was very polite and attentive. — The food at Le Lac restaurant was great, especially the Patagonian fish. The breakfast (which was included) was also very good. — The room was spacious, tidy and had a nice pool view. And the bed was just perfect.

Maybe they are still coming back from COVID, but there were many little things you don't expect to find, mainly related to maintenance.

The hotel is not cheap and only 1 option to have decent dinner.

Very good breakfast with good service. Only 1 restaurant open at night, but a very good pasta place at 10 mins walking distance. Nice relaxing area with bowling and pool and pingpong tables.

They have the pool bar closed so you cannot enjoy a drink beside the pool, at least you get one by yourself from the room.

Many things seemed like it had seen better days. Closet doors were worn and hard to open and close. Shower knob for the temperature was very difficult to adjust. Not just because of the peculiar design, but because it was loose and didn’t properly grip the gears inside, to actually make a difference in temperature. Fun room full of activities in the basement with games and bowling. This however did look very worn and old. I was surprised when I arrived to the big beautiful resort entrance that I was asked to drive my car to the basement myself. Something I’m used to the staff taking care of at previous five star hotels

We got first the noisiest room in the hotel. Impossible to sleep and rest. We changed to another room on the following day but the door system was not working. I had to waist a lot of time asking for support and for maintenance to go. To worse part is that in Front desk they said that maintenance went and repaired it twice but still not working. The third time I asked for help (the door room was not working at all and could not be opened) Maintenance came and solved it. They confirmed to me it was the first time they went to that room. This is terrible for a hotel like Sofitel. The hotel did not compensate at all the terrible service and lots of time invested and bad sleep I had with my elder mother.

The price / value ratio. Not enough space around the swimming pool for all guests. A lot of details in the room were sloppy (for the price). The room was a prestige suite. The AC in the bedroom area didn't work (outside temperature was about 32C) The keycard worked after 3 tries. The application to enable key on the phone required a PIN number which the staff couldn't tell what it was. I got a splinter in my finger from the wooden furniture. The restroom smelled like sewage when we checked in. Had to keep a window open permanently to minimize it. They left a punctured Nespresso capsule and the machine itself was hard to operate. It would squeeze the capsules but wouldn't open them (I am used to Nespresso machines). The water dispenser next to the gym was empty. When I let the staff know about it, they called someone to refill it, which I waited for 20 minutes (temperature was about 32C) and then I left to get water from somewhere else It doesn't seem there is enough indoor parking space for all guests.

Service at bar and restaurant were horrific on the night i was there. Getting service at these venues was a bad experience plus airport car ordered by hotel was 30 minutes late. Facilities and location very nice. They need to shake up customer service somehow. I did 100 nights in hotels last year and they had major problem that night.

The rooms need remodel and update. The 21’ TV could be bigger. The toilet in our room didn’t flush. We called and requested maintenance but nobody was ever sent. Very poor overall value for money.

The SPA is excellent.

Service for meals was incredibly slow. Even getting a second cup of coffee at breakfast took a long time. Staff seemed disorganised; it was as if there were no systems in place for how to do ordinary things. Given how expensive this hotel is, I just didn't think it was good enough.

The rooms were nice - spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly.
