The climb up from downtown was a challenge but worth it.

Hostess did not speak English but we managed to communicate all the necessaries. It's a bit of a hike into town but there are shortcuts for pedestrians, so not a big deal unless you are carrying a load.

The facility is very nice. Cozy with a rustic feeling - in a good way. Everything seemed relatively new and very clean. Be prepared to haul your baggage up/down stairs. Breakfast was not spectacular but good.

The nice views come at the cost of being a little outside of downtown, but Uber is very inexpensive and readily available, so it was not a big issue.

The food is awesome, and the host is so kind and friendly. They helped us to book all the tickets for our trips. Really appreciate it. The house is so beautiful and cozy. And the room got a great sea view. It's so warm and comfortable. Really hope I can come back here again. It's such a lovely place to stay a long time.

It’s on the hill so not directly in the centre - which of course does have its benefits (view) as well.

Wonderful lodge. Run by a helpful and welcoming family. Great view over Ushuaia. Beautiful room with a lot of space. Delicious breakfast.

Not a lot of variety at breakfast. I am vegetarian (don't eat meat or eggs) so for me, it wasn't as filling as I had hoped. I don't really eat what they offered. I realized that's MY issue, not theirs or most people's. The room was fine but 2 of us with luggage and gear felt a bit cramped.

The lodge was attractive, clean and comfortable. We loved the view and wished we had had more time there! Everyone was polite and helpful!

Loved the meals, the warm hospitality, the quiet and peaceful setting, and the stunning scenery from the beautiful dining room windows! The host family was lovely, especially Valentina, who was an absolute delight. Homemade dinner was offered each night for around $10 USD, which was such a treat on nights when I didn’t want to go into town for dinner. The rooms and dining room are so cozy, and the view of the mountains is gorgeous. I stayed for 3 nights and never got tired of gazing out the windows. I slept SO well, as the property is very quiet. All in all, highly recommend! I can’t wait to stay again!

Just the perfect hosts and in a stunning setting looking down on Ushuaia and the Beagle channel but all Within walking distance or short taxi ride. I arrived late and some food was rustled up for me. And I slept so well in a warm and spacious room

-> Very clean room with a gorgeous view. -> Great location. It was a 20-25 minute walk to the center. -> Delicious breakfast. I am lactose and gluten intolerant. The owner made sure that everything was gluten- & lactose-free. She is a sweetheart. -> We had an absolutely delicious lentil soup and wine on our last night, which costs 8000 Argentinian Pesos in total for two people. A SIDE NOTE / TRAVELER TIPS: - Some hotels in Argentina might only accept cash in Argentinian Pesos or US dollars. Have cash to pay for the accommodation or other services; - Learn some basic Spanish. What I have concluded after traveling 5 weeks in South America is, a lot of locals do not speak English. My husband's Spanish is better than mine. But it was great to practice my Spanish with locals. - There is no Uber. Let the owner order you a taxi. You can also do it via WhatsApp, but the communication will be of course in Spanish.

A bit of a walk to the main town area but I found lots of accommodations were and it’s a nice walk.

A breath of fresh air! A lovely gem in Ushuaia. Beautiful building, kind staff, very comfortable and clean room. Beautiful, filling breakfast with a lovely view of the ocean and the town. Would recommend to anyone.

Nothing, our stay was perfect. We look back at a wonderfull time in Ushuaia, and hope to see Valentina again when she's visiting Europe :)

We were picked up by the owners of Ushuaia Lodge Las Margaritas 430 from the airport and immediately got a tour in the city. The owners were lovely and we spend a lot of time with Valentina who even joined us for a hike. The lodge is located at a 15 min walk from the city and overlooks the Beagle channel. Loved the views!

The lodge is located in the upper and quiet part of Ushuaia with an amazing view at the Beagle Channel. The host family was extremely friendly and supported us with every question from renting a car, buying tickets for a boat tour or giving wonderful hiking tips. We felt very comfortable an din good hands.

The hotel is located away from town centre but we didn’t mind.

The hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable. We loved the view from the lounge where we hangout in the evenings and enjoyed breakfast in the mornings. Would definitely stay with them again if we ever return to Ushuaia. Absolutely incredible stay! The family who runs the hotel is so lovely and everything from the bedding to the breakfast is perfect. A great location, and you'll sleep wonderfully in the mountain air. Highly recommend this spot!

nothing - everything was perfect. I’ll just say that it’s about 15min walk from the downtown down the hill and about 1000 pesos for a taxi. Don’t expect it to be on the Main Street.

the hosts were absolutely amazing, everything was perfect - warm welcome, friendly atmosphere, comfortable room and bed, very nice and clean bathroom. everything perfect - highly recommend this place. also, and not the least, the view is breathtaking!
