The people working there were very friendly. A good place for solo travellers as small enough to all get together to hangout. We had asado - was a brilliant evening.

I don’t write reviews on Booking.com often but this place I can only highly recommend. The vibe the staff ist nice and sweet. On my first night the meneger organised a grill/Asado for everybody with drinks for free! The vibe was amazing. I have the feeling that only friendly and nice travelers are visitng this place. Made out surely my time in Cordoba. Location is in the center. You can pay with every card. Beds and toilets are clean. Rezeption 24h open. Thank guys for lovely experience ❤️

cooking pots & pans usable but Teflon not great. need garbage cans in bedrooms. only 2 bath rooms , but are kept clean, staff work hard to keep them correct.

Terrible pillows. Wifi not great. 6 person dorm felt very cramped and there were only 4 of us in there. And there's not enough bathrooms.

Very professional and friendly check-in with Jansul (spelling??). Kitchen spacious and equipped. Common spaces nice. Comfortable mattresses.

There was only 2 bathrooms

I really enjoyed my stay at Mate!, the vibe was very good. Everything was always super clean. The staff was amazing! The owner was always there to help and make sure you're having the best stay. He even organized some activities for the hostel guests. I would really recommend this hostel.

It's a little bit further from the City centre, but if you like to walk that's not a problem

Due to maintenance Maté hostal was closed, which led to a problem on arrival. However, the owner went above and beyond to offer a solution: I was transferred to Morada hostal, had a spacious room and the staff was so very kind!! Had a wonderful stay in Córdoba . A big thank you from Hendrika

The aircon in the room was just a large electric fan which was loud at night time so was difficult to sleep. The window in the room still had to be left open as the 6 bed dorm room was still very hot which meant you could hear any traffic on the street outside. The charging points in the room are all beside the door, under the light switch. The type C plug that I tried to use didn’t work so I had to charge my phone from one of the plugs in the living room. The WiFi was very inconsistent, a lot of the time it didn’t work while in the dorm room and while a good deal better in the living room area, it would still drop out the odd time. The living room area should have a fan in it as even when the windows are opened, it s still really hot in that area. Lastly in both of the bathrooms that I used, the toilet seat had a crack in it. Please replace these.

Synthetic fitted sheets are a big NO in the humidity, not enough bathrooms for guests you find yourself desperate in the morning to wee. Rooms way to small, to hot for sleeping, heat was oppressive with 6 people in the room. There was air con but it did not feel cool during the night, Unsure who are staff or travellers, but staff were professional. No laundry facilities, no tour info.

Comfy lounge area, easy to meet people, people were friendly, more sth Americans than international people. Good kitchen and clean, informal not to many rules. Good fridge to store water bottles.

It's not the place for a traveller who wants to rest, there is a lot of noise during the night. There are only two bathrooms for all the guests. Good place for who wants to make friends
