We don’t normally post reviews but for The Posada Des Rosas we have to make an exception! To say that the Posada and the staff were 10/10 is an understatement. Pablo (owner), Josephine and Omar could not have done more to make our three day stay (quickly extended to eight days) more enjoyable in this family run traditional Posada. From really comfortable rooms to the delightful, secluded garden and pool, to the amazing breakfasts at local cafes and the highly sociable Asado that Pablo cooked one night for his guests from all over the world. The team also arranged all our amazing tours (we don’t often trust hotels with that task) and helped with all our trip admin from transfers to getting cash. Nothing was too much trouble and as the team work from their office just off the garden communications were 100% the whole time. The gem of our two months trip around South America and we are very grateful to Pablo.

We liked lots of things: 1) the house--functional and chic, with beautifully kept grounds; 2) welcome amenities such as fruit and wine; 3) vouchers to try various breakfast places; 4) the staff--so helpful on everything; 5) the central location, close to restaurants and Parque San Martin; 6) staff recommendations for things to do. The Posada staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and facilitate our stay, helping us with a variety of things such as within-city transportation, excursions, and restaurant suggestions. They are clearly thoughtful and invested in their guests' satisfaction.

I LOVED this hotel. I was thrilled to find such a comfortable, clean, cute and safe hotel in Mendoza. The Posada is near many lovely shops and restaurants/cafes but it still has a quiet and secluded feel to it. Posada de Rosas offers you these fun vouchers to have your breakfast, so it gives you an opportunity to try cafes in the area. I adored having the pool to lounge in when the afternoons got hot. The room itself was well equipped with a very comfy bed, plush towels, and excellent air conditioning, along with a small kitchen. I loved all the welcoming details that were put into the room- we had snacks and fruit in our room ready for us . The host was so welcoming and helpful. Pablo was there to greet us with the keys, a tour of the facilities and even a bottle of wine upon our arrival! He helped me book a fantastic adventure through wine country that included a horseback ride through a vineyard. I loved my stay so much that I extended it by three nights, which Pablo was very kind and helpful in helping me to do. I would highly recommend the Posada de Rosas for your stay in Mendoza. I will certainly book again when I return.

Beautiful and cozy hotel. The owner and staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room included a QR code voucher that provided breakfast at our choice of about 6 local restaurants. We chose one within a few minutes walking.

Great and beautiful property well located and parking on the street no problem. The host were very welcoming and super helpful . Everyone was very friendly. The room was beautiful, very clean and just perfect for us . Smart TV was a plus for sure . We got breakfast vouchers and we try very nice little cafes very close to the place . We had a wine tasting with other guests all organized by the owner so pleasant . The garden is beautiful and they also put the flag of our country at the door very nice touch ! It was easy to walk everywhere from the place beautiful parks and nice street to just walk . Very safe place , easy to find easy to check in and out . It was just the perfect place in Mendoza for us . Thanks

Posada de Rosas is highly rated for a simple reason - Pablo is the best host you could ask for. I've never seen a more organized, thoughtful and cozy but comfortable place. Everything is dialed in for easy, stress free enjoyment. We loved staying here and found it to be a perfect spot for exploring the surrounding areas.

Pablo was a fantastic host! He was very friendly and helpful about recommending things to do, places to go, and helpful with exchange rate questions. He hosted a great get-together with our Chilean friends to top off a wonderful weekend in Mendoza. His posada is welcoming and comfortable, and located nearby all major city attractions, we were able to walk around both downtown and the main San Martin park and really enjoy Mendoza. William was always there to help arrange a winery trip, and to answer any questions. Pablo and William make a great team and we would definitely stay there again if we are lucky enough to visit Mendoza again.

Great stay at Posada de Rosas, it had everything that you need : comfy beds, equipped kitchenette, TV with Netflix,.... The owner is really friendly and helpful, lots of options of things to do in the area. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and fresh mandarins from the garden, so nice! Coupons for breakfast in a little café nearby

Where do I behind with how incredible our experience was here?! From the very moment we arrived Pablo was absolutely amazing. We arrived from a late flight and he welcomed us into the Posada and showed us to our rooms, with a lovely bottle of red wine. The rooms are very spacious with lots of amenities like a fridge, kettle and glasses etc. The Posada itself is absolutely stunning - it’s like an oasis with stunning flowers and a pool. It has a number of super markets and restaurants close by and is the perfect place to stay. Pablo recommended a number of activities and we chose to do horse riding in the mountains one day and then a wine tasting the next. He went above and beyond. On the first day, we went to the stables and had the most fantastic time. He then took us to a very beautiful mountain restaurant, with delicious food and scenic views. The next day we did a number of wine tastings and we agreed that it was our favourite day in Argentina so far. Pablo knew exactly where to take us and it was honestly incredible. We were able to go from the Posada in the morning and the whole thing was very easy - he took care of everything. Overall, if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Mendoza, you have to stay here. I will be recommending the Posada to anyone I know coming to Mendoza. A massive thank you to Pablo and I hope lots of other people are able to enjoy this very special experience .
