Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

LatviaThe pool was already closed for the winter season, even though the temperature outside was over 20 degrees, which for us - northern Europeans - is still a real summer.
Great location, very good service. We had a power outage in our room one day, the staff immediately showed us another room, gave me a letter of apology and called for a complimentary dinner with a bottle of wine. Great, we would be willing to change rooms again!

Excellent large comfortable rooms. Very clean and convenient also with a work desk and an easy chair to relax in. Also incredibly wonderful restaurant in the hotel with staff who cannot do it enough for you!

United KingdomBreakfast was not good, cold food, one coffee machine out of order, average selection of food. The room was very old fashioned, furniture bumped and bashed. Needs upgrading / refurbishing. Certainly is not anything like 5 star more 3 star.
Location was good. Dinner in the restaurant was very good. Free drink in the bar on arrival was a nice touch.

SingaporeThe staff not consistent with the rules. In my 1st stay from 4to 6 Feb, I paid by debit card. But when I check in again on 8 Feb, the young guy staff told me only credit card allowed to pay the bill and he insisted I have to pay by credit card. Why??????? I have been using my debit card in Argentina and it has never been refused. Luckily, the senior staff came out to guide him that debit card can pay the bill. Please educate your staff . CanadaThis time they placed us in a room that was next to a family room. The first day and night we didn’t sleep at all due to children screaming and running around next door. The next night was peaceful but the following night was terrible again with being awaken at close to midnight by children screaming.
This is a very nice property in a good location. We stayed here a few weeks earlier and had a great experience.
