“Joy is a very attentive host. She was here if we needed her, but otherwise, she left us to the serenity of the property. We had two dogs with us. They were able to run free (within reason and under control). The cottage (Beverley) has reverse cycle air conditioning for the cold days and electric blankets on the beds for the cold nights. The cottage was comfortable and was supplied with everything we needed. Joy was very happy to provide us with the odd extra thing we needed. It had lovely views of the neighbouring farmland. The verandah was fenced in with an unobtrusive wire "netting" which meant we could let the dogs onto the verandah without fear of them escaping from it. The chocolates on arrival were a lovely touch, and my mother was surprised with a cake on her birthday. In addition to the self-contained cottages, there is a lovely area for BNBs.”
