We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaHaving to get keys from a lock box from a different location to the apartment, was a bit of a hassle as it’s such a busy area and trying to find a park anywhere was night mate just to pick up keys then have to travel again to the apartment. The drive into the garage is so extremely tight we ended up parking down the street instead.

AustraliaThe owner didn't respond to my request on the day asking if it was possible to check in earlier. We had to wait outside in the torrential rain for 2 hours. The shower had very little pressure. Water dribbles out, no matter what time of day or night. Owner demands that garbage is taken out to street bins, however provides no bin liners, and there was an empty bottle in the cupboard bin from the previous guest. Owner said that shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided, however there was no body wash or shampoo. We had to buy all of these (including bin liners). The BBQ, kitchen bench and cupboards were filthy from the previous guests. The tiled floors were gummy and sticky from years of oil and kitchen grease. They may have never been properly mopped. The pots are tiny. There was no pot large enough to boil pasta or anything larger than three potatoes. The drain in the bathroom sink is blocked and takes forever to drain. There was no AC, and one of the ceiling fans emitted a loud whine when in use. The matresses in the beds were ancient and extremely uncomfortable, and can be heard creaking when moved. Mine felt like it was on a permanent slope. The provided (extremely tiny) garage can only be accessed through an incredibly-narrow driveway between the building and adjacent wall. It was comically difficult to drive back out in our rented compact SUV, with literally millimetres of clearance on either side of the car. Don't even bother using it, just find parking on the street. It's much safer, trust me.
The location was great. Partial view of the beach across the road. Access to a shared pool was a bonus, as it was cleaned regularly during our stay and well-maintained.

AustraliaBit tired and run down. carpet in bedroom very old, though well cleaned. In need of a freshen up, including painting. garage was inaccessible to our 4WD. Scaffolding around building raised some concerns, though in fact there was not a lot of noise from work.

AustraliaIncorrect instrucitons to acquire the keys and checkin instructions. Garage door does not open and close easily, does not lock either. It is a poorly presented apartment in need of a new bathroom, paint, wardrobes, old decor, floors etc. Did not feel safe as the locks were old. Too expensive for the quality of accomodation. Vibrating noise in master bedroom window area wakes sleepers. Dead cockies in kitchen. Entry balcony handrails are too low and not safe for young children (serious fall risk). Footpaths not maintained - painted and slippery when wet - and damaged. Very narrow drive - not suitable for larger vehicles. No airconditioning or heating. Why is there 30 glasses and 15 cups in the cupboard and no space for food? - go figure...
The location and view is good. Lounge furniture acceptable. Complex has lift. Well kept garden. Decent size pool.
