Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

VietnamWe would like to have a family dinner by going to nearby groceries and making our own food; however, the house didn't provide enough kitchen appliances like knives or chopsticks, which made it harder for us. The dishwasher was not working at all, and we still found dishes dirty after the night. Just personal preferences - We had quite a lot of luggage on the day, and there wasn't a lift from the ground floor for us to go straight up (we had to go on the stairs first before reaching the lift on the first floor). But overall, the place still met our expectations and we were happy with the stay
The area is nice with old-fashioned buildings and local surroundings like parks, boutique shops and fine dining restaurants. The place was spacious and pretty clean when we arrived

Singapore- The property did not look like the photos. The photos portrayed a very bright and clean look of the apartment where in fact the unit was rundown with walls that were yellow and dusty. - You could tell that the unit is very old as the master bedroom’s toilet was moldy and we couldn’t even slide the shower cubicle doors closed as they were faulty, contrary to what was portrayed in the photos. - While the linens were clean, the towels had a damp smell to it but we had no choice but to use them.

AustraliaGetting access to the lock box was VERY difficult. It was on the other side of the street chained to a playground fence. A resident told us to look there. Advertised with a bathtub, but there is no plug. Parking was difficult, no local parking available.

AustraliaBed was uncomfortable, and I suggest taking your own pillow. There was no parking with the unit and that's fine, but the nearest parking garage is a 10min walk and costs (55 Holt St, Wilson Parking - make sure you have a booking). I understand the need for greenery in the unit but fake plants don't look good. The bathrooms were okay, not sure if something was going on with the glass or if it's mould around all doors - I couldn't bath my 2yo because I just wasn't sure. The shower doors were all on crooked, couldn't open them cause they were stuck.
Location. We were headed to the SCG, so it was good for that. Plenty of food and drink options around, scenery is nice too. Walking distance to most things. Unit was great for a unit, kitchen and dining room table. Even the balcony, though I didn't use that. Communication between renters and landlord was okay. The unit was stuffy, aircon worked great and stand fans in each room.

New ZealandThe apartment was unclean. mould on the ceilings of the bedrooms. Mould all through the showers, the ensuite shower was the worst, we didn't even use it. There is no reason for not spraying it with bleach prior to visitors staying. One of the blinds was coming off the wall, the door handles were falling apart. The carpet could have used a good clean. The only clean section of the house was the kitchen. We were given only one thin duvet each with no extra bedding. This apartment needs a total deep clean and the mould treated... It was not pleasant laying in bed and seeing mould covering the bedroom ceilings. Disappointing.

AustraliaNeeds a bit of maintenance, towel railings falling off and loose in bathrooms, one bedroom door handle not working, mould on ceiling in bedrooms and in bathrooms. Parking was also an issue cost $180 for one night at the nearest Wilson park. (Maybe arrange a permit for a vehicle for street parking)
Kitchen and living area was nice. Location was convenient for what we were doing.

AustraliaThere was a smell like sewerage through the property (like the toilets weren't "breathing"). The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The air-conditioner was very old and noisey. The TV did not have free to air channels tuned in. The building was quiet old and dated.
The location was good as we were going to the SCG and the property was close. Also close to the light rail. The property was in a quiet street.
