Lovely homely apartment in a fantastic location. Definitely recommend staying in Newtown. Lots of shops and eateries on your doorstep and only a couple of train stops from the centre of town. I really felt like I wanted to live here. I recommend the farmers market on Saturday morning at the Carriageworks if you like good food

It is basic and the apartment needs a little love and care (a fresh paint and some electrical work as the light flickered). But comfortably sleeping 4-6 with (6 would be with 2 people sleeping in the lounge room) make it’s great value.

A deep clean and a lick of paint would make the apartment even more comfortable. The parking situation is challenging. Despite these points, I highly recommend this apartment. Would love to stay here again.

Cozy apartment, very good atmosphere. Lots of natural light, wooden floors, and cute balcony. Great place to relax. Felt like a home away from home. Great location! In a quiet, leafy street just around the corner from Newtown' s main street. Short walk to train station. Very nice neighborhood.

It desperately needs a paint. The walls have all these empty picture hooks which made it look tacky. The beds didn’t have bed heads which made it seem bit cheap. The toilet was in a tight spot next to the bench and the laundry was in full view, a screen or something would make it nicer.

Host could have been more friendly, man was rude when he brought the toaster. No parking, had to hunt for parking daily. Not suitable for elderly or someone with knee problems, stairs not safe, dark. Hard to carry bags up. Needs lots of cleaning, false advertising. Over priced accommodation.

No air conditioning. We’re told by other tenants that it is illegal to rent out the property upon check in. My family got anxious about it and was not able to enjoy the stay.

Toilet paper and top of champagne cork and foil left on dining table for arrival. Apartment could do with a paint. No air conditioning and noise from outside throughout night as windows needed to be opened to cool down. Basic presentation throughout.

(1) The location description is inaccurate - says "Darling Harbour", but it is in Newtown. (2) The lockbox code was not correct, and time consuming to get the correct code. (3) The apartment had not been cleaned. (4) Beds had been slept in and were unmade. (5) The property manager denied it all and did not help to rectify. Had to book alternate accommodation at 10pm at night. We have reported this property to Booking.com and NSW Fair Trading.

It was wonderful!!! The home was beautiful, had a fabulous time and everyone I dealt with at the Holiday Vacation Rental office could not have been more accommodating or nicer, would recommend them to everyone.
