The wifi connection was very poor. I had after hours online work to do and I had virtually no signal. Couldn’t watch Netflix or Foxtel because of this. No signal. Could have done with a tv in the bedroom. Too far from shops to walk.

The property is located close to town. Our spa room was clean, comfortable, recently refurbished and spacious. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful and enjoyed staying at Aanuka. We will stay again.

The property is pretty dated, with the villas seemingly being privately owned there is vast difference in quality despite them being the same price, we did end up moving rooms after the first night. The restaurant was closed two of the four nights we were there (Sunday and Monday) which was a shame, there is a lot of potential for improvement with the restaurant/bar too, it could be amazing given the chance!

We stayed here for nostalgia value mostly! Not much has changed in 30yrs. The kids loved the pools, and playing tennis every morning. The close proximity to the beach was great for a walk, plus its close to other activities around Coffs Harbour

The rooms are very tired and dated. We’d last visited 7 years ago and they’d seemed dated then, yet little (if anything) has been updated. They need a refresh with things like sufficient and conveniently located power sockets to enable devices to be recharged, better wifi (it’s insufficient to enable working from your room), more comfortable bedding and furnishings and some hooks for clothes in the bathroom. The breakfast was OK but expensive for what it was. The technology for the gate to the carpark is pretty old too, requiring a key to be inserted, which is very difficult in pouring rain and after dark. At least an automatic sensor light to assist would be useful.

Great beachfront location. The gardens and natural setting are very well maintained with lots of wildlife. Staff were always very cheerful and willing to help and readily available.

The outdoor pool was a little dirty and is aging, with painting needed. It didn't stop us from swimming though. The indoor pool used to be heated so I'd love it to be warm again.

Lots to explore and do as a family, like tennis, mini golf, pools, spas, slide, gym, park, beach, etc. Feels tropical with wandering paths through the trees. The room was clean and beds comfy. Buffet breakfast provided a range of options.

zero vibe in the restaurant - felt really cheap couldn’t wait to get out however the food was actually quite good The gate to our area was broken so no real security The breakfast was ok, again pretty empty and It was really hot up there with no aircon I remember staying here years ago and being able to have breakfast outside with the beach view was so wonderful however the outside area was closed. Rooms were comfy but needs a renovation Mattress need an update also- could feel the springs

Beautiful spot, if they spent the money on the maintenance of the buildings like they do on the gardens it would be a 10 out of 10, day spa on site was wonderful but appears management need to carry out much needed repairs and maintenance on this and the whole resort.

The rooms were very 1970 style. They were very dark and vertical blinds are not fashionable. Our outlook was a pathway so everyone could see straight into our room because of the vertical blinds. Those other option was a dark room.

The pool was great. The walk on the beach and around the property were nice.

We stayed in a room with your glass ceilings above the spa bath. Nice idea but let's a lot of light in when you are trying to sleep. If you like your room dark when sleeping try a different type of room.

our accommodation wasn’t clean. We had to purchase cleaning products and clean it ourselves. the floors were not vacuumed. The accommodation was very dated and in desperate need of an upgrade. The extra bed provided for our 3rd child was broken which made it very uncomfortable for him to sleep. The Air Conditioning leaked. There was no lock on the upstairs balcony door. The kitchen and bathroom were in very poor condition.
