The food was a real disappointment.. the pizza was undercooked and flowery, Cesar salad was soggy, with a cold hard boiled egg(was meant to be a poached egg) chicken was fried chicken pieces, like they were out of a frozen packet.. and the garlic bread, well for 4 half pieces of bread for $14… very disappointing.. if only I took photos..

Our room had a spa bath which was amazing. The little soaps shampoo etc were very handy. The location is great. The facilities are nice with the restaurant and cafe onsite, pool and nice little walk around with ducks a lake etc. it’s right on the beach with direct access which is nice.

The apartment was not the cleanest. Unfortunately we are clean freaks, so hair everywhere in the spa bath was off putting. The blanket had old food on it and the material of the sofas were visibly grubby and dirty. All the blinds in the apartment had slats missing. TV couldn't play Netflix, although connected to the internet. Wet and dirty towels were not replaced when left in the spa bath as requested. I suggest management do a few spot checks on the cleaners, as they are taking shortcuts. The heated pool has a brown ring around the water mark, probably from human oils. The water has foam around the outlets, probably because the water is not chlorinated enough. We felt dirty after our swim because of this. :-( I think this was a top resort a few decades ago, but over the years it has become old and dated.

Reception upgraded our room to an apartment on arrival, which was very nice.

Hated the stairs with my hips/back. The only elevator was at the front of the building, not ideal when staying at the back. Toilet ran, which was annoying.

Loved where it was located and seemed to have everything u want . (Indoor pool, BBQ areas, cafe, restaurant, spa, etc.)

For the price you pay, there should be more basic supplies. Milk for one. You supply coffee and no milk. Things like foil, bigger frying pan for a 4 person apartment. Simple things. Movie options.- netflix etc Room Service?

This was a great little getaway that meant we didn't have to leave the resort, exactly what we were looking for. Enough outdoor spaces for families, everyone having a wonderful view of either the centered pool or lake + the beach with direct access. I was pleasantly surprised and will certainly be coming back again.

Our apartments was quite dated, especially the bathrooms. Taps and shower heads need replacing, lots of calcium, and shower recesses very warn, rusty mouldy. No dishwasher liquid, and only 1 wash cloth in kitchen.

Great spot and facilities, staff and restaurants amazing. Bed comfy, plenty of room. All we needed.

Hotel is in desperate need of a major restoration, everything is old and outdated. The room appeared to have not had simple maintenance issues addressed water leaking out of bathrooms into main area could see rust damage on door frames etc.

The rooms were not as clean as they should have been given the standard of property and the cost. There was damage in one of the bathrooms and the cistern had obviously been replaced at some point because the old one had been sawn off leaving the piece where it would have connected to the base remaining. This doesn’t reflect well on the resort.

The staff were wonderful - warm, friendly and helpful. Food was also good.

We didn't want to sleep with Air con but the morning was quite cool for us and a light blanket would have been nice after midnight

The room was clean and comfortable. We didn't use the pools but it was nice overlooking them. Location was very handy
