The only issue was the poor television quality. Only a few channels were available and picture quality was so poor it wasn't worth watching. Luckilly, I don't plan only watching television. I think in these times of information and entertainment, this let the entire product down and if the hotel did no0t suit my needs I would be looking elsewhere. A second point, your website encourages me to book directly rather than go through Booking.Com. I was unable to do this because the hotel would not match booking.com prices. So bot much point saying you want people to book directly.

Th only issue I had, and this is very much a personal preference, is that the bed was too soft for my liking. Again, this is a personal preference and not something that will deter me from staying again.

The room was very spacious and accommodated our family of 4 very well. The over all property was excellent with ample parking. We didn't use any of the other services the facility had to offer but from what we could see everything on offer was of a very high standard. We will certainly look at staying again.

Compared to our previous stay a few years ago, the room aged a bit. The mattress is a tad saggy in the middle. The shower head needs fixing, the flush button on the toilet is broken. There was no coffee machine (coffee bags aren't as good), no frying pan.

Very quiet place, always our priority. The hotel is close enough to shops and restaurants, and not too far from the main attractions (galleries, museums, lake Burley Griffin). Our room was clean, spacious and well furnished. The view over the golf course is a plus!

FYI the rooms in the 70’s & 80’s were a fair walk from reception, unless I just missed the short cut! My room’s balcony door handle latch was sticky so I couldn’t properly close and therefore lock it. I arrived quite late and left quite early but I’m sure they would have assisted had I reported it on arrival.

Plenty of parking, fantastic water pressure & hot water in the shower, kitchenette with some utensils, washer & dryer in bathroom, and very clean and new looking overall. Late check in process was simple and quick. Check out was even faster!

The heating was lousy ,and not working properly I asked at reception and was given a small blow heater , I also asked for another blanket and was assured one would be delivered but nothing showed up, “Owell”

When I booked the room it was quoted at $164, a discounted rate. Upon arrival I was charged $213. Reception said the additional cost was a pet tariff. The pet tariff didn't show on my booking.com booking. Reception said this often happens with booking.com not showing the pet tariff. Had I known of the surcharge I'd have looked elsewhere. Other pet owners told me they were also caught unaware. I normally travel with a printout but I was without printer access so had to rely on the booking number. If I'm travelling to Canberra with my dog again I will probably consider other options rather than get hit with unexpected charges. I will also be wary of booking at Abode properties if travelling with my dog as dislike hidden charges. I am glad Abode's allow dogs but Abode and Booking.com need to be more upfront about the surcharge. I'm not against paying extra for a pet but really don't like hidden, unexpected fees.

I'd stayed at the Adobe Narrabundah before, but without my dog. I booked it as comfortable and pet friendly and in Canberra like an easy drive to Woden and Kingston.
