I didn't like that I had to get out from under the water in the shower to access the body wash and shampoo etc. I think this is in a bad position. I realise this is difficult to fix but it is a bad set up.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

Our room was located next to the main road, so it was a bit noisy. Also the pillows were not comfortable for us.

The hotel was central to the city centre and within walking distance to several landmarks of Launceston.

City view room was a bit loud at times. There is a note next to provided earplugs saying “some people like the sound of the city…”. I grew up in a city on a main road near an industrial area, with trucks passing frequently, and traffic noise wasn’t as noticeable as this. At times it was as if there was no window. On one night a car went past several times around 3am with horn blasting. Fortunately I am not too bothered by noise, and prefer it to silence, but for others who may be hoping for a relaxing night’s sleep, it’s best to know it may be a little more than just some city noise.

The staff and the beautifully renovated room made our stay. She’s an older hotel, undergoing soft (quiet) renovations; located directly across from the city park … The parking is limited, but the hotel has addressed the need with an additional lot nearby. The restaurant is very popular with locals, so the food must be good. We’d definitely stay again.

Breakfast. It was way to jammed up and had to stand around and wait till others got their food to squashy by far. Also the coffee machine was out of order, it was not fair that you buy breakfast and then if you want a coffee you had to purchase it because the machine was out of order. COME ON

Th balcony is unfortunately too close to the busy roadside to enable you to enjoy and relax. There is limited storage space for hanging clothing and no bench space. Nowhere for females to comfortably apply makeup with no shelf area or decent mirror. The receptions area seems very crowded, therefore guests are waiting for some time.

It was perhaps a little inconvenient that the hotel restaurant is closed on Sunday. I do understand the additional cost required to open on that day, but a lot of places to eat in Launceston are closed on a Sunday night and that's when hotel restaurants can be particularly helpful to visitors.

Everything really. The coffee capsule machine in the room was a nice touch.

Dirty windows, furniture a bit worn. Very badly organized breakfast, with one overworked girl not able to keep up. No spoons, coffee machine not refilled for a while, poor layout.

Rooms were fine other than being on the roadside with traffic noise right throughout the night.

Breakfast was adequate - although only tinned fruit rather than fresh. One of our party needed a sweetner rather than sugar and was advised that none was available. This should not have been the case.
