Quiet lovely place to relax and seek local adventure and entertainment that is just a few blocks away. Great view and garden for enjoying the breeze and birds. Friendly and helpful hosts with all the conveniences one could think of. Wonderfully managed.

We were blown away with our stay here! A beautiful house set on the side of a hill overlooking the ocean. Mick and his team were faultless, they ensured our stay with them was just perfect. Centrally located, half way between the port and the Marina. Yes, there is a steep hill to climb on your way back to the property but boy is it worth it!

Everything about Airlie Guest House is charming. Beautifully located, clean and homely. Mick is very knowledgeable about the area and the tours and experiences available. I’m scared of birds and he had me feeding a cockatoo out of my hand over breakfast! Perfect if you want a ‘home away from home’ experience.

This place is such a gem. Mick who owns the property is incredibly warm, friendly and knowledgeable. He allowed us to check in early when we arrived earlier than expected. Our room was beautiful and had a gorgeous garden including an egg chair, outdoor seating and two sunbeds. You can eat breakfast upstairs or downstairs. Upstairs there's a telescope you can use to look at the local bird life including cockatoos, peewee birds and kookaburra birds. At breakfast the cockatoos come along to sit and watch. It felt like being in the garden of Eden, a real paradise. Breakfast is included and very generous. There were great touches like homemade muffins, Easter eggs and notes that made it feel like we were a family. Immaculately well kept and just the most beautiful location. It is up a hill but it's worth it for the views and you can easily get a very cheap cab if you don't fancy the walk. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thank you Mick.

Perfect location, just a stroll down a small hill to the main street to the lagoon, restaurants, bars and the marina. Tip: if you have a large suitcase get a transfer/taxi straight to the property instead of attempt the walk up. Beautiful view from balcony area. Room was spacious and clean. Travelling alone I felt safe staying here. Only thing I didn’t like is when I had to leave!!

Great location, slightly up the hill from the main road, so it’s nice and peaceful with a great view to the bay. Great breki and well equipped kitchen. Comfortable large room and en-suite. Short stay for only 2 nights but would definitely recommend.

There's wasn't anything we weren't happy about.

The whole experience was wonderful. Mike, the owner, was very helpful offering ideas and tips where to go in the area and at Whitehaven beach. The house is spotlessly maintained and beautifully decorated. It has a really relaxed vibe about it. A bonus was being able to still use the house on our day of departure to freshen up, was very much appreciated Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Mick was really friendly, helpful and gave good recommendations. The guest house was close enough to walk into town but far enough away to be peaceful. Great views and some friendly cockatoos joined us for breakfast!

Everything was splendid and just what we needed to relax and enjoy our stay to the full.

Truly welcoming, with great facilities and a relaxed and homely feel. The breakfast was lovely, especially the fresh fruit platter and the fresh coffee, and the views were magnificent - feeding the cockatoos was one of many highlights!

Absolutely amazing, will recommend this place to everyone and anyone. Best place we have stayed travelling Australia & best hosts. The complimentary breakfast is plentiful and filling. We were welcome to use the guest house and relax before leaving for a boat trip and leave our luggage free of charge. Upon return 2 days later, we were greeted with smiling faces and a popsicle!! It honestly restored our energy levels in every way. Do yourself a favour and stay at this beautiful property!! Thank you Mick and Megan for the hospitality.

Airlie guest house offered such good value for money. It is located so close to the main street in Airlie, in a beautiful house, and run by a lovely host and 2 helpers. The room was really well decorated and so clean. The common areas shared with the other guests (such as kitchen) was impecable. The breakfast in the morning was simple but a real life saver. My room had the bathroom outside of the room but it was private, and very spacious/clean. The host will also guide you through tours that can be done in the area. I had a wonderful 3 night stay with my partner.

Airlie Guest House is an excellent place to stay when you're in Airlie Beach. The location is goodl, close to the town. Mick, the host, is very friendly, He provides valuable tips, and assists with booking trips. The entire guesthouse is well-maintained, modern and clean. I highly recommend staying here.

Airlie guest house went above and beyond our expectations! From the incredible view to the breakfast every morning, the thoughtful design of the house and the proximity to downtown, we loved every moment of our stay and couldn’t recommend it enough.
