Bathroom tiles seep water between the joints when stood on, recommend sandals/thongs for the showers.

For those looking for a place to stay on a budget, this place is unmatched. Only a block over from the Intercity bus, and located in the Hobart CBD. Backpacker prices for a private bed and secure locker. The washing machine and drier do not require coins to operate, a welcome surprise for budget accommodation. Staff easy to deal with for accommodation changes/issues.

It is freezing inside. The aircon on. One duvet is clearly not enough. I could not sleep properly because I was freezing cold. The toilet was properly disgusting. Poo on the toilet seat. They don’t turn the lights off in the corridor. Make sure you have an eye mask . No receptionist to ask an extra blanket

The pillow was rock hard so not comfortable. The aircon made a weird sound which did not stop even when turning it on a lower setting, however, I did need the aircon so this was a bit annoying. the cubicles were also very noisy don't forget your earplugs. And the bathroom facilities could've been better. Only two toilets and showers for around 10 - 15 girls would not have been enough in the peak season, but for my stay it was sufficient cause there were not as many girls.

It was nice to have my own space in the little cubicle. The lighting was really good and the mirror was an added bonus. My big suitcase could fit in the lockers which was great. The location was amazing in the middle of the city centre and the bus stop for the sky bus was on the other side of the street so very convenient.

it's not soundproof at all, you can hear every creak or step from the neighbours - toilet needs fixing, water can seep into every tile and it smells bad after a while. the squelching sounds disgusting too. Washing machine needs fixing, there's only one available.

quite clean and comfortable - location was really superb. check in process was easy - I received a lot of help from staff to put my bags earlier and leave my bags for later. Pantry had a refrigerator - easy to use.

Bathroom tiles are ruined and need redoing (you can hear them squish under foot) but still fine as long as you have shower shoes. There isn’t much space in the pod apart from sleeping so can’t keep other stuff in there as well, a small bench as well would be elevate the pod. One washing machine didn’t work and the other took over an hour per load. One dryer didn’t work and the other was extremely slow to dry any clothes. Probably wouldn’t recommend planning to do washing here!

The tiles in the females bathroom are flooded from under, if you walk on them you can hear all the water squishing underneath it and the water comes up through all the grout lines.

Bathroom floor is broken and constantly wet which causes musky smell and is altogether a bit yucky. Some cutlery in the kitchen area would have been helpful.

No microwave. All the signs are too high and not at eye level (so didn’t even see the one about not spraying deodorant in pod until was leaving). No sign on women’s bathroom, so I freaked out when I came out of shower to see a male in bathroom, who was also shocked he was in women’s bathroom. There was also a male staying in female dorm one night (yes definitely male, had full facial hair)- although there is no doorway shutting off the female dorm from hallway, so not sure that really mattered. My card for locker worked initially, but stopped working, so had to keep punching in code (which wasn’t an issue except buttons sound really loud & I am certain that the noise pollution wouldn’t have been appreciated by nearby pods).

Felt safe & secure in Pod. Liked lighting options & USB charger (x2) in pod. Location is very central. Easy self check in process. Each pod has a locker with code & card (No padlock needed. Approx 50/60L pack size). Liked that it supplied ear plugs (as not all guests are respectful with noise). Linen & towel provided. Has a fridge & hot water machine. Bring own utensils & coffee
