How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A little tight for family with 3 older children. Bathroom access is only through the main bedroom. Neighbouring rooms were quite noisy at night.
Excellent value for money. Rooms cleaned daily. Felt safe with gates closed at night and staff monitoring. Good meals at the bistro. Close to main street of Boulder.

The carpet looks grotty. Replacing it would really lift the place.

The place has a good vide, the staff were so helpful and friendly. The room was lovely, clean, comfortable. Really loved staying there. Would recommend to all who visit Kalgoorlie. Great facilities and restaurant

Very disappointed that the TV reception kept cutting in and out, so couldn't watch anything. Good job I had a book to read otherwise I would have put a formal complaint in!

One of the staff told me i was flying into the carpark but im sure i was not. The thing was her tone sounded rude to me. I did not cause a fuss as i did not want to spoil my trip. Apart from this incident, everything else was good, even other staff members.
The rest of the staff members were friendly and helpful.

The walls were pretty thin between rooms, but as is expected from a motel. The beds were a bit dusty, however comfortable.
Rooms were very spacious. It was easy to spot the location. Was very convenient as well. There was a lot of parking spaces for customers. The lady in the front was very helpful. Able to opt for early check out without extra costs. Secure at night due to a locked gate on the premises.

The only issue I had was that I found the bed uncomfortable as I suffer arthritis etc so others may not be worried by it.
The room was exceptionally clean. Looked like some renovation to bathroom. Dinner was well priced and value for money. Staff were just so so friendly and helpful. I love the Albion, it is sad to see Boulder looking so empty but the city will come back again as it always does. Kalgoorlie- Boulder people the friendliest people in Australia. The Albion is best value for money in Kalgoorlie - Boulder.

The ladies at reception were lovely and made suree and my daughter was comfortable. Food at he pub was great and awesome.size. Like how the rooms where quite. If felt like home beds so comfortable sleep straight away.

The location is fine, but the hotel complex is a bit noisy with people coming and going, the rooms aren't exactly sound proof, in saying that though it didn't keep us up!
It was clean and smelt good, Check in is easy, and I liked they serviced the room each day with fresh towels etc. It is good value for money too. There are no cooking facilities like a stove but there is a toaster and microwave.

The staff we're very friendly an easy to talk to very helpful with any additional information needed for places around town , they hygiene of the room an facilities with in the premises was very well maintained , defiently value for money by far family friendly ☺

The water pressure in the shower was extremely bad. I'd have to say the worst shower we've ever had. Too much water pressure in the kitchen was too much. Another thing was but no real big deal the artwork on the wall was of New York City. Maybe some local canvas prints of the Super pit or bushland.
The room was clean & very comfy. The staff were very friendly & always helpful. The pool area looked very inviting in Summer time. Around the complex was very neat & tidy. Having the pub right next door is very handy for food & drinks.
