Wonderful place! Restful garden full of little nooks to relax or read in peace. Well appointed kitchen. Super friendly staff who were happy to advise on local stuff or just chat. The owner Seb especially so. Just loved it!

The lodge is very clean and with a strong character. The kitchen is well equipped and relatively large. The environment is warm and friendly. The staff is very kind in providing information about the place and to organize tours.

Friendly and quirky backpacker accommodation. I have stayed here several times in a double room and have been very comfortable. It's clean and has been decorated with interesting items. There's lots to look at. Garden was lovely to sit in on sunny winter days. Staff also friendly and helpful..

The only thing I would say people should know beforehand is that the parking space is really limited. We were always able to find a spot to park but with really large cars / campervans it might be more problematic. As cars have to be parked behind each other, you might have to get up in the morning to move your car to let someone else out. Everyone was friendly though and the communication seemed to work :)

You can tell right away that there was a lot of effort, thought and work put into each room and the whole hostel set up! We extended our stay and ended up staying 7 nights in total. We stayed in the 3 bed dorm, 6 bed dorm and alpine hut and each room was unique! (I almost wished incould have stayed in each room). I would say the best price value was the 3bed dorm since it’s only slightly more than the 6bed dorm. During our time, the weather was rainy and cold so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor area and pool that much but it looked like a great place to hang out and chill! The receptionists, Rachel, James and Seb, were wonderful and helpful!! Made our stay even better! :)

The place has a lot of character, the bathrooms were clean, the kitchen well-equipped, the communication with the owners was prompt, the staff were really friendly. We booked 1-day tour to Uluru through them and got a discount on our first night. If you can, book directly with them, it helps them.

Beautiful place, every little area of the hostel was taken care of to the smallest detail. I would definitely come back and I’ll recommend it to everyone staying in Alice! Pool, cinema area with hundreds of dvd, library, cozy rooms and friendly staff

Reception only manned for a few hours each day.

Very friendly and welcoming staff who were super accomodation and went out of their way to help. Fun and quirky decor - lots to see and do around the common areas. Clean and well-equiped kitchen. Excellent shower. Laundry facilities.

I missed some common area to rest. There is a kitchen (a lot of facilities, just oven was missing) plus small book-room for one person. All of other places are located outside (not the best idea to stay during rainy or cold day).

Alice's Se ret Travellers is a very nice place to stay for backpackers and not only. I truly liked decorations around, mostly in the garden which looks magical at night. The place is located very close to the Botanic Garden where you can watch sunsets. Its around 15 minutes to the supermarket. The room was nice and tidy and the wifi worked very well.

Really friendly & helpful check-in staff gave us some great tips for the onward drive, and otherwise the hostel itself felt like a small oasis, very safe as others have mentioned, plentiful facilities (including supplies of tea/coffee), nice warm showers. We stayed in a private room and it was perfect for our one-night stopover.
