Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaInsuffient crockery, cooking utensils, microwave dishes (none), etc. We were there for 6 nights which meant no housekeeping provided and NO way of keeping the apartment clean ie no vacuum cleaner, broom or mop. Also no manuals or instructions on how to operate phone, microwave or washing machine

Australia- The room had zero soundproofing so we could hear everything in the rooms around us. One night there was a party from 1-4am but reception is unattended overnight and there was no contact number in the room for help getting it shut down. - The room was surface clean but needed a deep clean (around microwave, behind bedside tables, carpet). Carpet had surface gunk and the room was only serviced once during a 10 day stay. - The bench edges were quite banged up and there was evident water damage to the bottom of furniture in living and bathroom space. Needs some TLC. - Mattress and pillows didn't have protectors. Yuck.
We were travelling from NSW for children's sport for 10 days and were on a tight budget - the room was adequate for our budget and we didn't have to spend a lot of time there. Having the option to cook in the room or eat out with the CBD on our doorstep made it ok. - Location is excellent and the staff were very helpful. - The water pressure and heat in the shower were excellent. - We were able to secure parking onsite for most of the visit. Book in advance as it's extremely limited! - Wifi was reasonable and the TV was a good size.

AustraliaNo clothes dryer. Only way to dry clothes was on a clothes rack on the balcony, which is OK if it is a fine, warm day. Single beds were hard. Nowhere in the shower to put soap, shampoo etc - there needs to be a shelf.
Good to have a kitchenette to make breakfast and snacks. Balcony with table and chairs. Quiet in the apartment. Washing machine. Indian restaurant close by was very good.

The location was great, easy walking to the shops and Elizabeth quay. The room was large, more than enough space for the two of us and it was great to be able to self cater when we wanted to.

SingaporeWe arrived at 130am, reception was closed and main door was locked. According to self checkin instructions, they left the entrance key in a lockbox however there were NO keys inside it. The phone number included in the email instructions was directed to a voicemail. Thank God our driver noticed another number written on a small notice on the counter top of the reception desk. The heater in the loving room wasnt quite heated despite turning up to highest. There were also no heaters in the bedroom.
