It smelled bad in the room like old curry cooking smell and the bathroom was dirty and smelled bad like mould.

The air con didn't work properly, it was quite noisy outside and people were not smoking in the designated area. i also was charged a international transaction fee on my credit card which i didn't understand. The free continental breakfast was very basic.

The manager kept on asking about who was going to pick up my things and to 'leave the key in the room' (therefore having no real access to the room other than ring the provided number. Also note, on arrival at the hotel, mid afternoon, my daughter and I waited at least 10 minutes for the manager to show despite pressing buttons, searching for manager etc. Despute being so unwell, I was not going to take my chances- I kept the key with me). The room itself was small and the bathroom had a broken soap well and the bathroom door was also broken - it had a hole in it). Manager also explained that the 'new management' isn't that new - same manager for a few years.

The manager was polite and arranged an ambulance at the request of my family member, as I had been experiencing chest pains. The continental breakfast was a nice bonus.

Surcharge of $4.40 for using credit card was a bit rich. No soap in bathroom & only 1 small tube if body wash, shampoo & conditioner. Main fluoro was flickering & should have been changed. Cleanliness of unit was below par.

The room was disgusting. It smelt of cat urine. We got back late at night and when we pulled back the covers on one of the beds it was all brown. My 2 little girls were sleeping in it lucky we had a blanket in the car that we told them to lay on.

We were double booked and after having been confirmed and paid for the room to arrive and be told there was nothing, but had I arrived 5 mins earlier we could have been lucky - really. We had to travel back to brisbane that night as there was nothing anywhere available.

Rooms smelt unclean, coming from carpet. smelt of cigarettes, had no toilet paper provided, the shower went freezing cold after 1 minute couldn’t bathe my kids, bins hadn’t been emptied. the owner showed me to my room, came to my room again in the morning to tell us about breaky, and then wanted me to stay while he did the room inspection before we were allowed to leave which was a very odd way of doing things, and isn’t always comfertable as a young girl on your own. will Deffs not be going to a budget place again and will pay the extra $ to stay somewhere nice and clean.

Decided not to eat there didn’t get a good feeling about the place Tried to check in but nobody there had to go and come back which wasn’t a great experience and girl on front desk didn’t speak English very well and was not friendly People smoking out the front when said no smoking and got met by a child who followed me around asking lots of questions about why we were staying there felt very uncomfortable with the whole situation Will definitely not recommend this place to anyone

The bed linen was filthy , particularly the pillowcases, the bed needs updating, it was very easy to roll out! There were no bedside tables or bedside lights, the very old lift that was above the bed did not work. The owners used the blower outside our bedroom door at 6:10am for about an hour, we were not impressed after not sleeping well. The room slept 3 people yet there was only one coffee mug and one glass. This property is well over priced for what essentially should be a one or two star motel.
