This property is a private little paradise, and how generous of Billy and Andrea to share it with us! As someone who lives in a remote community a few hours drive from Katherine, this has become my new chosen accommodation when I'm in town. The bed was so comfy, it was so quiet and peaceful, and I felt very welcomed by Billy and Andrea. Next time I'd like to leave enough time to wander through their beautiful gardens.

Watch out for the occasional water beetle in the pool.

Friendly host. Cabin clean and fully equipped. 5 lovely dogs that were a great welcome in the mornings and coming back after a day of exploring the area. Nice pool for cooling down after a day out

The location, facilities are ok, think granny flat with all the things you need, homey, private. Its off the main town, in a private property, so its quiet. The host is very friendly, unassuming (for a host that let guests share their private space), very hospitable.

I can’t think of anything.

The owner has a wonderfully welcoming personality and offered all sorts of advice about where to go and what to see. The property was an old container which had been turned into an accommodation unit very tastefully with en-suite shower room and was tucked into a shady corner of the garden. The garden was nicely laid out with mature tropical trees and bushes and large areas of lawn. We were invited to use the swimming pool which we did. There were 5 dogs ranging round all of which were very friendly.

I would have liked to have extended my stay, but I had to leave early in the morning for work. Next time.

I was surprised how impressive the gardens and grounds were. The room was super comfy and newer than I thought. Lovely. The best part was the hospitality of the hosts. More than good hosts, I think I’ve found new friends.

Cool place to stay near Katherine! Take into account that the room is a shipping container turned into a bedroom so it looks weird from the outside but it’s super comfortable and nice looking on the inside. And there is AC so it’s nice and chilly in the room. There is a kitchen and an area to sit outside. The room is on the family’s property so also take that into account. When we stayed their only their daughter was home, she was very nice and helpful. They have a few adorable dogs and a cat. We really enjoyed our stay!

It would have been great to have the bathroom next to our accommodation, but I believe that Billy and Andrea are working on this.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this lovely spot just outside of Katherine. Billy and Andrea were excellent hosts and we loved chatting with them during our stay. Our accommodation was very comfortable and the pool was a big bonus, especially as it was very hot while we were there. We'd definitely recommend this unique stay!

I wish the bathroom had been a little closer to our room. As a fairly elderly lady my early hours trip to the bathroom felt a little hazardous

Minutes away from Katherine. The pool was fantastic. You could hang out, have a BBQ, use the well stocked kitchen and enjoy a quiet bush land setting. They even had an ice machine. A home away from home. Loved it!

Beautiful property, a quick drive out of the centre of Katherine but feels very secluded in bush setting. The AC in our room was very effective which is definitely important! The kitchenette and outdoor BBQ area was very well equipped with everything you need if self-catering. The pool is a big plus and there is plenty to explore on the property itself for any wildlife/bird watchers. Hosts Billy and Andrea and their lovely dogs were super welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Could not really think of anything we didn't like.

We loved the location as it felt like we were staying at a farm. The container looked small from the outside but surprisingly it was big inside and had a large bathroom. The bed was so comfortable and the room was clean and had everything you need. Also there was a pool and an outdoor sitting area you can use. They did have 5 dogs but they were very placid and not yappy jumping dogs hahaha and pretty much kept to themselves. It is 8 min drive into town so not far. I would definitely recommend staying here especially with your own bathroom. it was a safe place to stay. Andrea was really nice and happy to answer any questions. Sorry we didn't get to meet Billy as we were always out and about.
