Our host was friendly and helpful.The accommodation was very clean with modern appliances including a washing machine and dryer. An extremely comfortable bed with a range of pillows gave us a wonderful nights sleep. It’s location was quiet but close to everything.

We were lucky to get the loft apartment above the house, which was superb. Everything one could wish for had been provided for a very comfortable stay. The apartment was roomy with tasteful decor and there was a small balcony for summer sitting. The double bed and pillows were so comfy. There was a folder of helpful information about the town and the loft and a couple of interesting books. The owner, Annie, was delightful and very friendly.

Everything you needed, umbrella, lingerie bag and laundry detergent, washing machine and drier, 2 chocolates in the fridge and some cereal for breakfast even though breakfast not included. Lovely light airy room, 10 minutes walk down the hill to the wharf and eating places.

Hard to pick anything, tight parking?

Very well presented property, a great layout, cute cabins surrounded by green grass, easy to tell these rooms are genuinely cared for. Bathroom includes laundry. The kitchen is spacious and comfortable couch/tv setup. Could easily spend a week there…

We stayed at Aloft for 2 nights in a ground floor studio. Aloft more than met our needs and the large bed was very comfortable. The accommodation was close to town and the local IGA. However if you want to self cater try to visit a supermarket before you get to Strahan as the prices at the IGA are outrageous.

Our accommodation was very spacious and clean. It had everything that you needed. Parking was easy and secure. The location was very good, we were close to a supermarket and pharmacy. The bed was comfortable. We were only staying one night and booked a 6-hour river cruise for the following day. Annie kindly allowed us to keep our luggage in a secure place until we returned.

Spacious room with cooking facilities and full kitchen. King size very comfortable bed. Good heating. Comes with small dishwasher, full size washing machine and separate dryer. 600 metre walk to cruises and 200 metre walk to supermarket.

Everything was amazing

I booked Studio 1 and was warmly welcomed by Annie, a wonderful host who made our stay feel like home. The cozy ambiance and exceptionally comfortable bed were highlights. The added bonus of a sofa and smart tv for streaming and a well-stocked mini bar with high-quality items was a delightful surprise. The toilet was also amazing with heated lamps, washer and dryer. Annie’s attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the apartment, making it feel like a true home away from home. Everything here are good quality items that are normally bought for your own house,and not in a motel. This was a pleasant surprise as it made us feel like this was our apartment. The motel’s location near the town and cruise terminals, and even the IGA next door provided convenience. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for its exceptional comfort, thoughtful amenities, and unbeatable hospitality. Staying here was a memorable experience that I’d gladly repeat.

I like everything in this accommodation. Had a pretty high expectation to begin with as I was browsing through the pictures and Aloft exceeded my expectation! It's clean, cozy, comfortable, well-equipped (there's kitchen and laundry in the unit so it's great) and I appreciate the town guide and coffeetable books provided in the room. Overall, I've really enjoyed my stay in Aloft, will definitely stay here again when I return to Strahan. Annie is friendly and helpful as well, easily reachable when we had questions.
