Lovely clean, comfortable room with huge attention to quality. Perfect, well equipped outdoor kitchen with wonderful views. We have booked for one night, but decide to make apartment our base to explore this part of Tasmania and stay longer. Regards to friendly hosts Gina and Grant.

We couldn't stay longer!!

Fantastic hosts, lovely clean room with huge attention to detail (loved the wood floors, well resourced kitchen, breakfast foods, toiletries etc etc), the outdoor kitchen, wonderful views, peace and quiet, brilliant value for money. Out of touring mainland Australia and Tasmania for 7 weeks, this property was by far the best for us. Just loved it. Thank you Gina and Grant.

Absolutely nothing. Was perfect!

I loved the attention to detail. Arriving to find a fresh home made loaf of bread on the kitchen counter was just the best. It’s such a nice location with great views, and it has absolutely everything I needed. The shower is also brilliant!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights in such a quiet, peaceful location. Gina is a perfect host and has very thoughtfully provided everything needed for a relaxing stay. The studio is very comfortably furnished and an exceptional breakfast was provided.

My husband and I only stayed one night but would have happily stayed more if we had the time. The room was well equipped with appliances and very clean with a comfortable bed. Host, Gina, was lovely, and she offers a lot of little extras for our stay, like home cook bread and eggs. The location has beautiful views and is only 20km for Hobart. It would make a good base to explore the surrounding areas or just to relax and enjoy the serenity.

Nothing. Everything was perfect!

Fantastic place! I loved everything about it: the bed, the fresh smelling towels, the great breakfast and the amazing view. Gina is a very nice host and the studio is very clean. It's always hard to find affordable accommodation when travelling alone, so I was very happy with this place.

We would have loved to stay longer and I could have chatted with the hosts all day. So the only thing we didn't like was that we had to leave.

Amazing Hosts, Amazing Location and Breakfast was exceptional thanks to the host and the view. The hosts were lovely and offered plenty of tips on our Tasmanian Travels. We would definitely stay there again. Ridiculous value, we loved this place.

Superb accommodation and very reasonably priced. There was everything we needed and more, even a loaf of freshly baked bread! Gina went out of her way to make us comfortable, and is a terrific host. Amaroo would be perfect for a longer stay to explore the area, like the Myrtle Forest nearby.

I’m being really nitpicking here. There’s a fridge, sink and microwave in the studio, but if you want an oven or cooktop you do need to visit the seperate kitchen/lounge.

A really lovely country get away. Gina was warm and welcoming. All the creature comforts you could want. The studio is connected to the house (shares a wall and there is a locked interconnected door) but it is very private. With a seperate entrance. Everything was very comfortable and easy. Wi-fi worked great too! There’s also a separate closed in kitchen/lounge area which guests can use - it has lovely views of the farm, rolling hills, and the river. I spent most of my time there reading. I’m a mum to twin toddlers and this was the perfect night away - really enjoyed how peaceful it was.

Fantastic little place to stay and out of the hussle and bustle of the city life. Peaceful and quite nature surroundings with some views down the valley and a lovely forest walk with some waterfalls only 5 mins drive from the property. The mornings variety of native bird calls adds to the tranquility and experience of the country lifestyle and stay. Lovely owners and the space really has everything you need to just relax, unwind and recharge. Ohh and the breakfast hamper provided is pretty amazing. I'm happy to be the first person from booking to stay here and only the second person in total as it's new accommodation. I will definitely be coming to stay again at some stage :)
