Jo and Frank were the most kind and friendly owners, very hospitable, homely welcoming lodge. Very clean and amazing well stocked kitchen with all the facilities you need. The shared bathroom was always very clean/spotless. As a family the board games that they kept at the lodge was great and entertaining. It was great service as we arrived before check-in and left our bags for safe keeping. We arrived back at the lodge very late to find our bags had been transferred to our rooms. The lodge is beautifully clean, warm and cosy. The shared kitchen has a spectacular outlook. Our hosts Jo and Frank were always available, helpful, friendly (and bonus: hilarious).

The hosts , Jo and Frank were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The Lodge is spotlessly clean, warm and has everything one needs. The communal area has space to read, relax and chat with others or just snooze on the couch! Bedrooms were cosy, warm and had gorgeous views out to the snow.

Great place to stay. Jo and Frank both were very welcoming. We were lucky to have great company from other guests staying at the time. Place was nice and cosy. Walk to the centre was justifiable as well. Would love to stay again.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Amber Lodge. The rooms were sparkling clean so as all the shared facilities, the beds were comfy. Jo and Frank are absolutely sensational hosts that are doing an amazing job running the place and making the guests feel good in all aspects. Will be definitely booking Amber Lodge again once the kids are a bit older and ready to take up snow sports:)

Exceptional care by Jo and Frank, nothing was to much trouble. Beds were really comfy, the little extras like complementary Tea coffee Milo all the extra bits Jo and Frank is what makes a stay at Amber lodge so easy and relaxing. We have already booked for next year.

Our stay at Amber lodge was nothing short of amazing. Clean rooms and bathrooms, great location (close to a great bar and restaurant The Alpine Retreat) and a clean communal kitchen with a cozy spacious communal lounge area. Jo and Frank were great hosts and I can't wait to stay with them next time!

Incredibly lovely staff and very attentive! Room was the perfect size and very clean. Really nice modern showers and bathrooms! Great dry room. Again AMAZING staff, made us feel at home. Won’t be staying anywhere else on the mountain.

The walk from the village was a little long but not an issue if your catch the free shuttle.

The hosts Frank & Joe are unbelievably nice and accommodating. From the moment you approach the door they’re ready to assist in anyway they can. Frank & Joe set the tone for a connected & sharing environment which made conversation in the communal areas comfortable and pleasant. We relaxed & chatted with so many people and learnt so much about the mountain over drinks and food. It was refreshing & rejuvenating after full days of skiing & snowboarding. The rooms are cosy, comfy & a little small but they are as advertised so no surprises there. On that note, the rooms are so, so clean, as if they were freshly renovated for each quest and this cleanliness extends throughout the lodge. The equipment drying room is the first drying room i've been in that didn’t smell & didn’t feel like a sauna…. That’s right and i've been in & out of ski resorts for 18 years! Frank & Joe know their stuff with guest and their equipment set as a priority! You’ll understand this when you visit. Thanks again Frank & Joe fro a lovely experience. Andrew, Alastair and Jono
