The place felt very private and it was lovely waking up to see such a range of different birds in the trees outside the room. It was only a short stroll to the main street in Hahndorf for food and touristy shops.

Lovey gardens, great location. Much better than a motel room.

Beautiful grounds, we were there for a wedding and got some lovely shots. Great location and very happy with the apartment. Host Vanessa was lovely. Thanks for a lovely stay.

I don’t think I realised that the bedroom wasn’t actually seperate to the main living , I just prefer a completely seperate space.

Wren cottage is situated in a lovely garden setting, lots of beautiful birds feeding outside your window in the morning, very cosy and away from the Main Street of Hahndorf where there’s a lot of traffic going by

This was a great place to stay in a beautiful part of the Adelaide Hills. It was an easy walk to the main town centre which had a number of wonderful restaurants and shops. The german heritage is very evident and is a very picturesque area. There are several wineries nearby. The room was upstairs and we were delighted with the number of birds - cockatoos, parrots, galahs etc. that gathered below our balcony in the morning and evenings. The room is spacious with a separate bedroom and is beautifully styled with all the amenities we required. The hosts are lovely and provided very helpful information on the surrounding area. We loved our stay here. Highly recommended.

we stayed in Amble Over. room was upstairs and had a lounge, kitchen, big bathroom with bath and bedroom with King bed. like a small apartment. 2 balconies one off the lounge and one off the bedroom sat on the bedroom one in the mornings as lots of birds come in to get seed from the seed boxes downstairs in the owners garden. everything you need is in this spotless apartment. Hahndorf Main Street at bottom of the road. we walked in daily. highly recommended

We liked everything

Vanessa greeted us on arrival and showed us all the amenities. The Amble has everything and Vanessa has thought of everything, from milk in the fridge on arrival, to earbuds in the bathroom. The Amble is spacious and we had a wonderful and comfortable stay.. It is also within walking distance to the main attractions in town

there wasn’t anything that I didn’t love!

I loved the ambience. it was a such a peaceful quiet property and the cockatoos greeting us in the morning was such a wonderful surprise! it was super close to the Main Street of hahndorf which took away the hassle of parking

Just my own view but I would take out the spa. Leaves little room in the bathroom. Does anyone use it? This is not something I didn't like but just a suggestion.

Lovely stay at the Amble in the quaint town of Hahndorf. Great location, walking distance to the main drag. Room had all you need, visits from amazing Birdlife, Vanessa very helpful and friendly.

No comment, we liked everything. Another guest mentioned that a fly screen would be useful then the front door could be left open but this wasn’t an issue for us - the air conditioning kept the indoor space at a very nice temperature.

Great location and easy to travel to by car. Super ground floor apartment with outdoor veranda overlooking the beautiful garden. Large comfy bed, indoor dining and lounge area for cooler days or personal seating area on veranda. Hot shower and spa bath in the property with toiletries provided. Well-equipped kitchen area for self-catering and supermarket within easy walking distance for home cooking or several restaurants nearby. Friendly hosts who provided nice personal touches e.g tea, coffee, milk & emergency toiletries. Very quiet area and great fun to watch the many different birds that visited the garden to feed.

My car was too big for the car park not there fault just too long.

The beds were really comfortable the location was central to our needs and we had everything we needed in the rooms it felt relaxed and it was quiet at night .

Full cream milk was provided but I prefer Light milk. 100% my own fault. I should have mentioned it earlier. Make sure you ask if you have a preference. Vanessa will be more than accommodating I'd you let her know.

Really happy with the comfort and size of the bed. Pillows were comfortable too. Beautiful gardens and loved the birds right out our window in the morning. Walking distance to the main street. Vanessa is a friendly and knowledgeable host.
