I thought I would have more of a beach view from my room and maybe a bigger outdoor seating area but considering I spent my time physically at the beach it didn't matter in the end.

I loved the private access to the beach! The room was spacious and comfortable.

We had no issues or complaints with the lodgings or the services.

Located 50 meters from the beach along a single lane driveway, after driving past grazing cows on the left and flowering plants on the right. If the weather had been better we would have spent more time at the beach, but being kept indoors wasn't an issue due to the comfortable lodgings.

Only having a kitchenette was limiting if you wanted to cook your own meals during the stay.

A great location only metres from the beach, it was wonderful to look out and see the surf rolling in.

The windows were very dirty on the outside. Made for a blurry visual to see through the windows. It would be nice if there was more privacy whilst out on the verandah. We could see the other guests who stayed in other building clearly on their verandah. There is potential to easily block the view without taking away from the scenic views.

I liked everything about this property. It had a little of everything which was great. Easy to find, great beach location and so peaceful. Very comfy indeed. Beautiful wildlife and even a friendly visit from a cheeky fox :D The rocks were fun to explore and lots of shells to view. The locals were very friendly and the township was very accommoditing with a vast variety of entertainment and food.

Location was fantastic with easy access to the beach. Beautiful ocean views from both the living room and bedroom. The cottage was very spacious and had all the amenities required for a pleasant stay.

The house is a little run down, which is understood given the proximity to the ocean. Just needs some painting here and there and a few minor repairs.

The peaceful location, across the lawn to the private beach, was perfect. Basic kitchen supplies allowed breakfast and meal prep. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Sheltered from the wind. Friendly host.

I did not realise (my fault) that I was booking a one-bedroom studio (Cabana). But it all worked out fine and we had a great stay at Port Fairy.

The room was spacious and had all the facilities, plus a coffee plunger and hair-dryer. It was so close the beach and there was heaps of room for parking our car. Graeme was an exceptional host.

Would have liked more comfortable couches to snuggle into, especially as it is getting colder. The leather must be freezing to sit on in winter.

The location was beautiful. It was quiet and private. Comfortable little cottage.

No TV in the bedroom This was important for our stay as it was cold and this would have allowed us to cuddle up in bed and watch some TV entertainment. Plus the aircon in the living/ dining room was not quite enough to warm the rest of the cottage particularly the bed room. Although these are worth mentioning as possible improvement of the cottage it is still worth staying and we considered it as very good.

Perfect for a couple.

Wasn’t keen on the double burner for cooking, it took an hour to boil water in a small pan (yes we used it correctly). If we return I would bring my own electric frypan and/or slow cooker.

Location - loved the quiet beach, mostly had it to ourselves. The owner was very responsive to any issues. The bed was very comfortable and the outdoor area private.
