There was hair on the floor in the bathroom. The bathroom mirror had a jagged edge on a corner which was broken off. The fridge and dishwasher both looked liked someone had taken to them with a hammer. The stairs up to the bedroom creaked extremely loudly Worst, the traffic noise in the apartment (especially in the bedroom) was so loud I slept down on the lounge.

Bed was good (even though I only tried to sleep in it briefly) Facilities were good comfortable and spacious. Kitchen well appointed. Good for a multi night stay

In Room wall fans are a little too noisy.

Location of the stay is strategic near to Paramatta. The apartment suite is suitable for family and in clean and tidy manner. The apartment suite is a little old but kept in decent condition

On booking I sent through a request that was approved for late arrival. On arrival there wasn't any staff on shift and I had to call whilst outside automated entry door with other guests waited in their cars behind me. Once I met with a staff member I found the attitude of them to be rather dismal.. reflected their disdain at having to come and provide me with my room key and codes to access on site carparks etc. I didn't feel the fees required on checking in were accurately reflected in the booking information.. such as $200 credit card fee to ensure room up to standard on check out (this is still yet to be reimbursed on my card as well) and the $15 fee to use the on site car space. These charges are in addition to the booking fee itself

It seems worn and grubby. Black mould in the shower recess. The carpet is worn and dirty, in some places singed? I felt compelled to wear thongs while walking on the carpet. Red paint or tomato paste or blood on the carpet. Dirty chair. Housecleaning came the afternoon before I was to check out not mid-stay. There are lots of unsavoury clients... Men walking around with no shirts and no shoes smoking outside... I thought I saw a couple sleeping in their car in the carpark?

The bed and pillows were comfortable. Affordable secure parking at $15 a night.

Price. Very expensive for 1 night. Also don't know why the staff needed my card for confirmation when I had already paid in full and had the bond/deposit taken before paying in full. Staff couldn't explain why when I questioned it multiple times.

It was clean, but could have been cleaner as I could find trash from other people on the bathroom. There was an iron in the room which was great, but the ironing table provided was broken.

The apartment smelled of cigarette smoke and there were lots of butts on the ground at the edge of the patio off the bedroom. There was no landscaping beyond the patio only mounds of dirt, weeds and rubbish.

The apartment was quite roomy and had plenty of facilities.

The room wasn't exceptionally clean, the house keeping staff needed to put more attention to detail with this especially the dusting.

As expected for the price point the apartment is rather tired and has uncomfortable beds. No aircon in the bedrooms is a definite negative especially when it is a hot Parramatta day with no breeze. The bedrooms have a fan but it does not cool a hot room.

APX is an acceptable accommodation for a one night stay. Walking distance to the racecourse and decent pubs for food nearby makes it convenient. The apartment was clean and well equipped with dishes and small kitchen for cooking. The staff were friendly and pleasant.
