Lovely spacious, light and airy apartment, with big balconies. Three minute walk to the beach and then an easy 10 minute walk into town.

The only down side was that there is one main lounge, it can fit several people but with five of us, another lounge would have been good.

This was a great place to stay, a large unit in a small complex. Close to beach , 2 min walk but the outlook was the trees. Great beach, off leash for dogs but they won't bother you, some great spots to shelter close to the dunes if windy. The flat fits 4 to 6 comfortably and has plenty of space and a good kitchen, two bathrooms. Its an easy walk into town and we walked up to the light house each day for dawn. This is one of the quietest locations i have ever stayed in at Byron, and I've stayed here many times over 30 years. Communication was easy as was access and no issues arriving or leaving - I would stay again

I would look at a second aircon upstairs in loft area as it was so hot up there, my husband is an aircon man & said it’s definitely doable. The little pedestal fan that is up there doesn’t really cut it. As we stayed 4 nights & there was 4 of us we only received 1 towel each, I understand its not a hotel with room service but would suggest leaving extra towels for guests staying 4 plus more nights. And just missing the BBQ, maybe a small portable one on the verandah, though there is a stovetop & pans inside there is nothing like having a BBQ outside enjoying the scenery.

Aqua Soleil was in a great location walking distance to the Main Street of Byron, no need to try & drive to find a park when your so close. Surprisingly you couldn’t hear the busy Byron road where the apartment is & right on the other side of the Bushland was the beach.

Our flight to Ballina landed in the evening, so it was excellent that a door code allowed us access to the property the moment we arrived. The communication with the hosts was exceptional from the first contact and we were made to feel most welcome and that nothing was too much trouble. The use of a door code meant that we didn't need to carry keys to the property around with us, one less thing to remember and no messing around. The location of the property was excellent, a real fifteen minute walk to the centre of Byron Bay and one day we discovered a hidden pathway that allowed us to walk about half of that distance through trees and quiet streets. The easiest way to find this is, actually on your way back to the property, so first time out head into Byron using the main road, Shirley Street, it's a straight line into town. On your way back, use Shirley Street but head up Milton Street and keep heading west to the property. Milton Street ends, but there is a pathway through the trees which joins with Cavvanbah Street in about 150 metres. Keep walking along Cavvanbah and you're back at Aqua Soleil. The property is five minutes from the beach, check it on map software, so easy to get to and Belongil is such a beautiful beach with plenty of clean sand and a view of Cape Byron lighthouse on the headland. We were lucky enough to get some winter sun (about 20C) and spent a couple of relaxing hours at Belongil Beach and it was perfect to walk such a short distance back to the property. Inside the property is spacious, white, clean and bright. There's a mezzanine floor where the bed and en-suite with shower are which is large enough to stow your suitcases with plenty of surface space to leave clothes and items within reach. Downstairs is the main space and with the wrap around glass doors and windows, the sun and breeze come in making the combined living/kitchen area a pleasure to relax/cook/live in. Not enough toilet paper provided. The table outside was dirty. The upstairs room would be warm in summer as the window gets a lot of light in as there’s no blind.

We missed a BBQ ... would be happy with a shared one on p[property, but there were none for the unit or property. The pillows were super thick and firm... some softer thinner options would be good. Only other thing would be another air-conditioning split system for upstairs in loft and the bedroom. A fan would be useful for the bedroom too.

We loved this property. Everything was wonderful. Hosts were fantastic to deal with before and after. We felt very welcomed and valued and the property itself... all the finishing touches and location were just perfect. We will be back. Byron grows on us every time we go there and the access to Belongil and the town centre was fantastic. It was out of the main area, which we liked but was an easy walk in.

The pillows were too high and uncomfortable, the double bed upstairs can get quite hot and cops a lot of morning light. Small price to pay as the pros definitely outweighs the small amount of cons

Beautiful, spacious apartment with a great pool. The showers were amazing and there were plenty of comforts and thoughtful touches. Location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk into the centre

Excellent location to the beach. Apartment beautifully appointed - bathrooms 5 star. Lovely touch with cookies and coffee. Lovely to have basic pantry and Laundry items stocked. Board games great.

The loft bedroom did not have separate air conditioning - had to leave the main hall air conditioner on for a long time to get the entire place cool.

Great location. Stone's throw from the Belongil Beach and about 10 min walk from the main town centre - no need to drive around. Recently redone Mediterranean style studio apartment, very tastefully done up. New and very clean bathrooms. All amenities in place. The host was very responsive. Check in was flawless and everything was as expected - no surprises.

The Aqua Soleil at Byron Bay is in the perfect location, quiet with one minute walk to beach and and easy 10 minute walk to town via beach. The property was clean, coastal modern and open plan with a large sunny balcony. Communication with property manager was easy, pleasant and accomodating.

I realise it is mid January and high season, but 700 dollars a night was rather steep for what it was. The mezzanine bedroom became very hot and the aircon is downstairs, the fan just blew hot air around. Also, be ready to wake up early as there is no way to keep out the bright light when you sleep in the mezzanine.

I liked the location, close to the beach and the apartment had a large balcony.
