I love everything but the property is in telecom blackspot so no wifi, and phones can only reach 3G. This is not a bad thing though as there are several board games available, books to read are plentiful and a flat screen TV.

Peter is an excellent host, he gave us a tour around the house on arrival and pointed out where things are and activities we may choose to do like feeding the alpacas and feeding the birds. We are so impressed how clean the villa is, we stayed at Boobillla. Different varieties of breakfast are available. Bread, jam and butter, eggs, veggies, cereals and oats. Most of the cooking essentials are available. The size of rooms and bathrooms are generous. Walk in bathroom for people with disabilities is a plus. It is situated in a bushy location, few minutes from the main strip but not too far away from the shops if you happen to need something. So many good things that if I am going to mention all of those my review will be very lengthy.

No wifi. It is not a bad thing, forcing us away from computers.

The decoration of the house is fabulous, European style. My family likes the house a lot, especially the old-style fire stove burning with woods. We also like feeding the king parrot everyday. What a beautiful bird!

Tranquil location. Loved feeding the alpacas and lovely birds. Far enough out of town to feel remote, but it's only short drive to all the amenities. Peter was really friendly and made sure we had every we needed. You can tell he has a passion for the land and surrounding area.

excellent location, far enough away from the town not to hear any traffic, but close enough, ie 5 mins down the road, to get supplies if needed. Exquisitely presented cottages and spotlessly clean, complete with all the little touches.

The setting was exceptional set amongst the bush with wonderful bird life was relaxing. A wood burning fireplace was a wonderful treat and our host Peter kept the wood supple up for our visit. Peter was there when we arrived and could be contacted if needed otherwise we were left to enjoy the tranquility.. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing stay just a short 10 minutes away from downtown Lakes Entrance.

We loved everything about Araluen Park Cottages. The location was great, quiet and peaceful and the cottages were well spaced from each other. Our Cottage, Lilly Pilly, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay - even the fire was going when we arrived. We were there for birdwatching, and the host, Peter was very helpful in providing information about where to go and what to see.

We loved everything about our stay at Araluen Park Cottages. Peter was the perfect host, friendly and professional, and very attentive to our needs. We were met at the cosy cottage with the open-fire well alight, which set the scene for a warm welcome and enjoyable stay. Breakfast provisions were generous and catered for specific dietary needs. The cottage itself (Dianela) was lovingly built and decorated by the owners with great attention to detail, immaculately clean and well resourced, in a beautiful natural setting. A highlight was the daily visits from a wide range of native birds and resident alpacas, Ajax and Leo, who are real characters and added an unexpected dimension to our stay. We'll be back!
