there were some strange people in another room that were fighting and banging on a door screaming get out get out. fortunately it happened when we were leaving.

Located in close proximity to the Bruce highway there was traffic noise from the trucks travelling through at night, however this is evident on booking so really just as important for the person booking to make this distinction when choosing and if you are a light sleeper like me, pack some earplugs and you’ll have a lovely, convenient stay!

Excellent value for money. The rooms were spacious, extremely clean and comfortable and we were able to stay there with our dog!

The last room I had here was beautiful but the latest one was not as nice. Bathroom was lovely but the rest was very worn, peeling paint and scuff marks everywhere.. made me feel like the premium you pay to stay here over other 3-4 stars isn’t really worth it unless you get a renovated room.

laying in the king bed felt like I was rolling towards the bathroom and the feet area felt higher then the rest of the bed. no plates forks or knives or spoons to make coffee or tea, has toaster but nothing to prep with.

Fabulous room, however the blankets to put on were dirty and the lack of a coffee cup was like COVID-19 again.

What a fabulous location - close to all takeaways and restaurants, short drive to the zoo and botanic gardens! Food and wine festival was incredible. Was nice to have a short walk into the city and have a glass of wine and watch the river in the afternoon.

Had everything we needed in the room. The room was nice and spacious, beds were comfortable. Netflix on the TV was a bonus. We appreciated the complimentary water in the fridge. The receptionist upon check in was very friendly.

Very strong perfume smell in the room where I stayed. Other rooms occupied by my friends were okay. Strong smell of urine in the toilet bowl. Wifi only good enough for messaging. At times, strong enough for watching NETFLIX on the smart TV.

Located near to eateries and Rockhampton League Club, within walking distance. 5-10mins drive to Rocky Airport and Shopping. Room equipped with microwave, fridge, kettle, iron and ironing board. Aircon was clean. Hot shower was good. Adequate lightings in the room and toilet.

It was lovely but guys you need more bathmats. So much slippery tiles for a husband that's a little unsteady like me on very wet tiles.

The furniture in the room was a bit dated and old. The large glass top table was too big for the room with the two metal outdoor chairs the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat in. Hence we had to sit on the bed to watch TV which wasn't good for my back. A smaller table and chairs under the front window would have been perfect with room for a small two sitter couch. Another thing that I have never seen in any motel room we've ever stayed in was the complete lack of any cups, saucers, spoons and the basic things that makes a motel stay a bit nicer when you are away from home. It was a good thing that we travel with a kitchen box containing plates ,cups, cutlery and a tea towel. What was there was two thin cardboard take away cups and two packets of bamboo cutlery and an old kettle. Housekeeping was also sporadic. Being an older couple we need a bit more comfort so probably wont be staying here again.

The bathroom was a good size with a great shower with instant hot water. The room itself was large with plenty of room for two of us. TV was a good size and easy to use as well. Checking in at reception was also easy with very friendly service. We asked for a toaster which the Man brought over to us straight away. The exit on a side street was handy to get in and out of the property, with Archer Park Train Station museum and the Military Barracks close by. Walking distance to a really nice coffee shop. The free bottles of water was a welcome touch. Overall our 4 day stay was pleasant.
