Everything. Free to use bicycles, eskies, golf clubs, beach toys, beach towels and heaps more. Staff super friendly. High chair, bath and portacot in the room ready to go with no charge. Perfect location, quiet, 50m from the sand, 5 mins walk to the pub. Could not fault it. Exceptional.

Unfortunately the area behind our room has been cleared to make way for a new house. We were only affected by slight noise on the last day. As compensation we received 35% off our stay. Which I thought was a kind gesture. The ladies couldn’t have been more helpful and it not affect the enjoyment of our stay.

The location, the ladies who worked there, the room, all the information that was provided, use of chairs, inflatables, towels, books games etc. What ever we needed was available to use free of charge. And not forgetting Ryan the dog and his amazing football skills.

Excellent location steps from the beach and in a quiet spot on the main shopping and restaurant area. Staff all lovely and helpful. Bed comfortable and all facilities well maintained.

This is a home away from home, has everything you need and more. The owners were fabulous, friendly and unintrusive at the same time. Located 3 min walk from the main shopping area which means its quiet at night but conveniently close by.

Close to beach and Main Street. A lot of complementary facilities to borrow whilst there to keep the whole family entertained. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Accommodation comfy and very cute.

The Girls were amazing. Super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the area and surrounds. The room was the cleanest I have ever stayed in and the amount of free amenities was unbelievable. They really have thought of everything you could ever want or need when going on holiday. It was like a home away from home. I would definitely stay again if I am ever back in Port Douglas. Thank You x

Location, location, location. Short walk to restaurants, shops, and coffee. Super friendly and helpful staff. Anything that one could want for a fun day - beach towels, sand chairs, coolers, bikes, etc., all right there.

We had a "Cute Cozy" room and it was exactly that; plus very clean and comfortable. The little patio was lovely, the little kitchen was everything we needed, and the decor was fun. We especially appreciated the friendly, accommodating and chill vibe that The Girls at By the Sea have created. They truly care that their guests have a great experience at their place. Check-in was easy and friendly, and they provided super helpful information. What was truly exceptional was the entire room of things that guests were welcome to use; from beach toys to coolers to wagons and even bicycles.

wish we had more time here. We did not eat at Rattle and Hum and I really wanted to but we ran out of time!

The place was FANTASTIC! I was nervous about the after hours check in (1am) when no one was there but it could not have been easier! The room was cozy, super clean and you could tell every detail had been attended to. View to the beach was good and you had everything in the room and small kitchen you could need. Tons of fun stuff in the reception area for guests (books, DVD's, bikes, floats, etc). Every employee we spoke to was super nice, welcoming and helpful. Hats off to the ladies!! We loved strolling down the main drag to shop, go to the grocery, and even walk to the marina to get our snorkel trip. I wish we could have stayed longer!

The location was excellent right by the beach. The apartment and resort was well appointed with many whimsical pieces of artwork and decorations. Very family friendly with lots of equipment that could be borrowed! Wish we had booked a longer stay!

This place is a treasure! Clean and fresh, playful touches, super close to the beach, friendly hosts and an amazing array of items you can borrow inc beach toys, bikes, eskies, DVDs and books. We will definitely stay here again !

Great location, great space, configured the beds exactly as I needed them in each room. Very friendly staff. Good information for how to use all appliances and tv. Beach chairs, games, movies, coolers, etc for use.
